Just seen that documentry on BBC1 about the homless in swansea ,

Apparently it has the most homless in Wales and increasing in great numbers with drunks and dropouts.

Makes you think about the haves and have nots if we compare football to this ,how much was the richest prize for promotion in the playoffs and these sad people are sleeping in cardboard box`s in the shadow of the stadium!!!!

Was torn between two channels but recorded the fighting gypsies on BBC4 and this documentry about the down and outs in swansea living under bridges and even tents in this day and age makes you think when you are watching footballers kicking a ball for 90mins and getting thousands of pounds each week .........

Not saying Swansea is the only place in Britain like this but the difference between the have and have nots seems to be getting wider according to this program.........

You're not saying it's only Swansea but you are pointing out that the documentry was about the homeless in Swansea and implying that as they got promotion it shouldn't be happening. Are you a communist or is it just because Swansea was mentioned?

Welshman,jh is a brain dead troll, and rejoices in anti Swansea rhetoric. His obsession with Swansea, the City, and it's far superior Football team is universally known.
He has a big chip on his shoulder, partly due to his having to reside in a caravan in a run down part of Cardiff.

Yeah I know exactly what he's doing, or attempting to do. I dislike a jack as much as the next person but he's obsessed and one of the reasons i've virtually given up on here. Banter is good but obsessiveness is a disease.

Actually, the thread just states that if you compare how much money is in football and how many people have little money, it is a disgrace. The documentary talked about Swansea so it would have been pointless not to mention the location of the documentary. As JH later states, this is happening all over Britain.

Thin you got a little defensive there lads.

It is sad that some footballers earn (perhaps 'get paid' would be more accurate) more in a month than many people earn in a lifetime!

One wonders if he'd have posted this if the programme had been about Cardiff's army of homeless. <whistle> Oh that's right, you don't have any and everyone lives down by the Bay and has chrome Ikea kitchens. <doh>

If you feel that strongly, get those billionaire owners of yours to contribute to the homeless shelter in Splott.

Cardiff posters like Welshman above have a right to question why every other post from this troll mentions Swansea.

The swansea situation is a sad indictment of society today.Employment is needed to help these people to help themselves rebuild their lives.
How is the new McDonalds project coming along down by the liberty? I just hope everyone is giving their backing and fully supporting further job creation down there.

Welshman i am only stating what i saw last night on BBC1 plus i live in the town as in uni here so see it every day but i see you live in California so maybe if you saw the problem you would not be so negetive ,footballers are earning thousands every week whilst the homeless of swansea grows more and more every day ....do you see that as a problem? The program not me said it was the worst place in Wales...

Then again i`m sure i posted this on the Cardiff board and most replies have been moaning jacks ,perhaps they should try and do something about the situation in their town instead of being cyber warriors ,i even do my bit and buy a Big Issue from them every day ...........

Footballers wages are criminal compared to the way the homeless are treated as we saw last night down swansea .

Swansea has a larger proportion of workers in the public sector than a lot of other areas. With all these cuts it's not surprising they're badly hit.

I see you're still not doing that extra spelling and grammar module at the Uni, JH. <laugh>

That's right, no homelessness in California either. <doh> Maybe you should start studying instead of watching T.V.

You want to see the difference between the haves & have nots? I can assure you that Swansea has nothing on just about every city here. I'm not sure how my comments make me negative so maybe you could enlighten me, if you mean that I'm negative because of your constant Swansea threads then yes I am. If you seriously wanted a debate on the homeless v football players wages you could have done so without overbaiting your Swansea hook.

I seem to recall that the programme stating that the homeless go to Swansea as Swansea City appears to cares the most for them - albeit, still not enough. JH you are right about how sad it is to have homeless people in Swansea, just as much as it is everywhere else.

What's the worst of it all is, you've utilised a sad situation regarding homeless people and turned it into one of your sick WUMs, just like you did with your alleged friend... Well done boys you must be proud of this CCFC Supporter...
