My colleague who supports WHU decided that as they beat us 4-0 at the Vic, it'll be 6-0 tomorrow. If we manage to avoid defeat, I wonder if he'll come into work on Thursday.

It's going to be a tough one this, as I think we all realise. Playing against the Walrus and his troops on their turf.

One nil to the hornets, we are due a clean sheet, our new keeper will have settled in more and make a few fine flying saves. Maps and Nos to put a shut down on attacks. Eustace to boss Nolan. Deeney to poach one at the end to leave the hammers reeling. YELLOWS !!

If Carlsberg made away games eh !

    Ann Boleyn Stadium ???
    I should've stopped reading then!

All them colours, pomp and ceremony, you couldn't get the name of our stadium right. What a shame.

    The Boleyn ground
    Upton Park
    London E13.

    Very well.I agree.
It was very pretty, but if I woke up next to a fella, I'd be most upset.
If you're going to blog in such an eye catching way, your opinions are subjective and open, but your facts must be facts.
I'm not beyond our ground being called Upton Park, but the ann boleyn stadium?
Maybe when Gold gets his way, it'll be called the Anne Summers stadium, until then, our home's The Boleyn Ground.

Looking foward to the same result as when we played you at vicars house road................. oh wait.

If I had been asked who played at The Boleyn Ground I wouldn't have had a clue. Upton Park is where the hammers have always played and it has a bit of history, but whoever sold out to get that name should be asked is it worth it.

    I'm just saying mate.
It's insulting, I've just watched the american coverage of the Arsenal match where they declared it was three love to Arsenal at half time.
The original poster produced sterling work but messed it up with a glaring mistake, I hope he sees my remark as constructive critisism, its much better than I've seen anywhere else.

OFH - I'm sure it has always been known as The Boleyn Ground and Upton Park is the area it is in. Something to do with it originally being a large house where Ann Boleyn lived, known as Boleyn Castle - but I'm sure there are some Hammer fans who'll give us the correct story. :)

If the worst comes to the worst and we drop points tomorrow, at least it means that them c's from the coast are less likely to go up.
