Love the way the Chavs are saying good riddance. This a dark day for Chelsea. RA has sentanced them to a gradual decline with the aging core of his side calling the shots. I imagine if Jose came back the first thing he would do would be to get rid of the old guard. When he had them they were amongst the best, but nowadays that is far from the truth.

Man City have the big bucks, so that's the English club he'd want to join. He never wants to play second best with transfer budgets.

  5. Anyone who goes and works for the mad Russian oligarch is proving to the whole world that he is doing it purely for the money and not for football.

I'd like to think that, despite all the negative comments about both Guardiola and Mourhino, they have greater dignity than to make a deal with the mad Russian in order to get sacked after 12 months trying to deliver the impossible.

Chelsea's troubles are immense. Even if the mad Russian agreed to remove, with immediate effect, the likes of Fat Frank, racist Terry, Cashley Cole and Drogba, the manager still has to contend with the mad Russian. It is an unfortunate fact that every single player at Chelsea knows that they can affect the owner's opinion of the manager. The mad Russian has, not only to get rid of Chelsea's old guard now, but he also has to come out and publicly state that any player who does not support the manager, no matter what he does, that player will be removed from the team.

It isn't going to happen, and Chelsea will continue to flounder. The mad Russian has become the albatross around CFC's throat.

What is laughable is that none of the so-called professional pundits are making this clear. They know absolutely nothing and are a waste of space. Especially those on TalkSport.

There's also the hilarious stat that Fernando Torres has the same number of Premier League goals as Chelsea have had managers since he arrived...

  8. "So many people would love that job and a chance to work at a great club with the backing that the manager gets there - but you've got to make a success of it. If you do well, the sky's the limit."
    (Harry Redknapp, interview with BBC)

    <yikes>

What the hell are you talking about, Harry! What backing?

They've 8 managers in 9 years, FFS! How is that proof of anything other than the fact that managers do not get the backing from the mad Russian!

I think that he means financial backing, HIAG.
Certainly can't be talking about anything else, surely.

  12. I think you are right, PNP <ok>

Mind you, what's the point in having the oligarch's financial backing if he's going to tell you what over-hyped players to buy?

but that is the point Croyden..hes intrested in the England job..despite our wishful thinking that it is otherwise

  15. He's ruled out the Chav job because he wants to send a message to the FA that he's intent on taking the England job, if it's offered to him. The only thing we can hope for is that he isn't offered the job.

its possible HD..but he hasnt said a word on england because the word is one we dont want to hear...plus there is no need to say anything because the vacancy only opens after the season is over anyway..unlike the chelsea job which would presumably be taken from immediate effect....ill stick by that theory..especially the way he refuted the Chelsea job within days....id say im old enough and long enough in the tooth to be able to read between the lines...the Chelsea job is not an upward step..if anything it is a sideways step so why would he bother..and can u imagine him fighting tooth and nail to keep Modders from joining them yet leaves himself to join them?

England all the way for HR.....i dont begrudge him i just hope he reslises he wont get out alive from that job.,,but that is a whole new topic.
