OFH, I drove the length of Hampshire with a queue of cars behind. Lip-reading in my rear view mirror I think the closest driver had a view about Sunday afternoon drivers, especially those over 60+. Mrs H said we should have put a notice in the back window saying, "Caution; cake on board."

The first time I ever heard the now classic saying "..yeah, and If my Aunt had balls she'd be my Uncle" was from a French ex-manager at work. Whilst his English was excellent, he had not experienced much English slang or sayings, so I've always considered this as a French saying - I think I laughed for about 2 hours when I heard it that first time.

This is probably my fav example of someone getting it wrong. I do feel sorry for Gino working with those two though. It must be a nightmare.

Evening all. That was a productive day, and might not be done yet. I got 640 words on one assignment done. And have collected 5 articles to use later in the work. It is quite interesting reading the corperate social responsibility statements of Walmart (who own ASDA in the UK) and then what is actually happening. The two are quite different.

hmmm. I hope you enjoy it. See if you can spot Judi Dench, Bill Nighy and Professor Mcgonagall in it. Some real oldies but goodies there.

Evening all - I love going into Walmart when I am in the US. Where else can you buy a gallon of Sunny Delight, a gallon of Cookies n Creme ice-cream, a 1lb of plastic cheese cut into a slices and a box of shotgun cartridges? Pure class..

Some interesting scorelines tonight - Arsenal nearly overcoming Milan's 4 goal lead, Aidy B's Northampton 3 up in their fight for survival - my favourite has to be Braintree 4-2 up against Newport, with Britt having scored twice ;)

And now Chelsea are 0-2 up at Brum, but its been very tight. Its good to see Britt scoring again. Hope he gets a couple more there and then steps up a level again
