Pity for Parker. It is a loan. So maybe Parker will go the other way & be loaned out to continue his recovery. Still a good prospect for next season IMHO.
At this stage of the season I would rather have a player with experience and 20 games in the premiership this season over Parker who has a handful of lower league games under his belt. I have never been impressed with Parker, I am hoping we shift him out in the summer.
May well be that the prize for Robinson now is a contract with Leeds next season. Be interesting to see how he copes with a midfield that doesn't defend in front of him, or maybe he plays in midfield.
Fair point Ristac. Warnock's comment about looking at him with a view to next season as well as his disliking of the loan market suggests he thinks we might come up short this season, but he's certainly building for next season. All seems forward-looking & planning to me. Go's back to plenty of posts that are suggesting a major clear out come May.
