I dont envy you H. Its got to be horrible, stuck in the car all day and rushing around like mad, then having to cook clean and be a mum when you get home.

After the news of the oil price rise our gasoline and diesel is still the same price as last week. I thought that they would rise.

To celebrate we have 4C and a grey cloudy sky with some rain threatened by the weather office.

Morning all - what a mad morning already, I'm all over the place.

Sun is just breaking out in West West London, although there are a lot of grey clouds still in the sky.

    Morning all

Absolutely beautiful day...bright sunshine and just a bit of breeze. A walk around the lanes will be a perfect preparation for lunch which is a leek and goat's cheese tart. For anyone who likes this sort of thing, here is the christening cake Mrs H made...

Showed the picture to Mme who used to do cakes for weddings, birthdays etc. Of course I am far too impatient to do such things, so was simply employed as transport manager. That in it's self was a skillful operation getting a four tier cake with latticed sides from A to B in one piece. She always carried her repair kit with her incase I drove at more than 20 m.p.h.

Morning all. Its a quiet day for me, so i will make the most of it and crack on with an assignment. I want to get one done soon so that its down to 3. Its turned very cold here suddenly and i dont like it!! Where has the sun gone :(. I had hoped to be writing this on my new tablet, but i will have to wait till Wednesday for that. :(

    Have a great holiday Al.

Ok then Sandy, when ever you can, dont worry yourself.

You are too kind to people H, they know you will do the service.

French lesson this morning which was quite funny due to the teacher being lost when it came down to English expressions.

'You cannot do two things at once properly' is one that came up. (Women are not included in this of course);)

The French version of this is: "The elephant cannot run and scratch it's backside at the same time" :(

A teacher I knew once claimed to have written on a not very able student's report:

Stuart finds it impossible to do two things at once...regrettably he has to breathe...
