After Saturdays results, and the fact that stats say that we only likely need 5 more wins to probably win the League, i have decided to put a sizeable bet on us to win the League of 100 pounds (well, its sizeable for me) to get a return of 11 pounds. Dont blame me if we blow it !
i did an accumulator of charlton up man u win the league leicester up swansea down should make about 40 pence.
If CAFC win the league West ham go up Wigan come down Borussia Dortmund win the german I recieve $1,400 for my $50 outlay
I have said it before, but just to depress me a little bit more. I had Man Citeh, Leicester, CAFC and Crawley @ 790/1. Stuck £20 on it. I really thought of all of them that Leicester were the most likely. Easier to take considering Crawleys slide.. would have been painful to get 3 of 4.
As i have mentioned once or twice, start of the season i had Man U, West Ham, Us and Swindon to win the league's, £5 on get's me nearly 5k back... ...and it might just come in
Wow Haysey, thats a cracker - beers are on you mate if it comes in. Suppose you're hoping Pompey stay in business then !
Sure am, although i don't want to see them go under as a football fan, if they do and it works out my bet would have come in if they hadn't i think i might cry!
I was wondering when someone would resurrect this thread ! Yes, it is all my fault - and no, im not nervous, as we dont need much to get over the line. Odds wise they havnt changed much - we are 6-1 ON still to win the league - and 80-1 on for promotion, and bookies dont get it wrong much - http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/league-one/winner Personally, as i said in another thread, we just need to score first and that will relieve the pressure, and a win at S****horpe on saturday will calm everyone's nerves.
last august i put 40 squid on us to win the title and placed it all each way (1-4 finish and i win). gave it to my old man as a present should return stake plus 140 if i remember. bet my old man has lost the slip though!
