I would love to know how with 3 centre back's, Simpson and Ferguson we still concede 4 goals... Well done boys, great performance. Twats.

He handed in a transfer request you pleb. What did you expect us to do? Ashley didn't get rid of Carroll against his wishes. Once he was sold, we had mere hours to try and find a replacement. It isn't long enough.

We didn't have much money and didn't expect much activity in the January transfer window. That was until Carroll made his shock request to leave with hours to go. We've still permanently signed Ben Arfa, signed Ireland on loan and brought in an emergency cover striker in Kuqi. With 35 mill banked, we can now spend properly in the summer. Doing anything else (including panic buys in January) would have been beyond stupid.

As toon126 said, the problems we're having now are right there on the pitch. There's a lot of injuries, individual players are playing terribly, and Pardew is making some tactical choices and player selections which are frankly turning out to be horrendous.

Yes Chappaz he handed in a transfer request funny how Ashley had his chopper on standby he was forced out by Ashley policy as were Keegan, Shearer, Milner, given and carroll enjoy the Championship you can then tell us how the club is on an even footing you are the shortsighted tosser to be honest you and Ashley deserve each other!!

Get a grip. There's no evidence or truth in anything you've said there. It's just stories which have been made up by you and your mates in the pub. 'Ashley had his chopper on standby'. What a load of crap.

If you're going to whinge about the state of NUFC, at least base it on fact instead of presuming things without any evidence whatsoever. If Carroll really wanted to stay, he could have. Simple as that.

If stoke only won 1-0 would everyone be so scared of relegation? We've lost at the end of the day, our goal difference is still comparatively healthy so it makes little difference to our relegation chances which, in my opinion, are still very slim. Look at the positives. Shola, Campbell, Lover and probably Smith will almost certainly be off the wage bill in the summer and young Ferguson looked class. We really missed Jonas on the left too so I think he needs to start until Ben Arfa or Ireland can step in.

    Christ.

A bad result is all it is. We are suffering a lack of form and have injuries to key players.

This season has always been about survival. The fact we've been running high in the table has distracted us somewhat but finishing above 18th is the aim.

On Chappaz side here...Tonton, you need to calm down man. You're acting like Ashley is deliberately out to ruin his investment!

Tiote signed up to a 5 n a half year contract, Ben Arfa signed permanently...You say we're lacking cover, but at the end of the day we have Enrique, Ferguson, Perch and Kadar all able to play on the left and Simpson, Ryan Taylor, Kadar and Perch all able to play on the right.

We're short up front, but would you have preferred that we were held to ransom, overpaying for some average striker? £15-20 on Bendtner? **** that!

As it is, with a few returning from injury/suspension we should enough to survive and build upon in the summer!

Tonton, are you drunk or something?

I'm by no means Ashley's number 1 fan, but I'm sick of people bringing in the anti-ashley arguement whenever we do something wrong on the pitch. It's a run of bad form ON THE PITCH and it's the current crop of players who need to sort it out. There's nothing more MA can do until the summer, so we just need to get on with supporting the lads. At the start of the season we knew we'd have good days and bad days and this is definitley a bad day and if you don't like us on the bad days then piss off and stop blaming anyone and everyone and taking your anger out on others.

Yeah that's right tonton, it's all Mike Ashley's fault you self-destructed today....any club with a striker who'd played just 6 months in the premiership would be insane to turn down £35million. I'd say "the poor man's titus bramble" is to blame for a couple of the goals today ;)

Just come back on here after drowning my sorrows believe me I am right Ashley is has always been and always will be only interested in Money. He has left us in a terrible state he has no idea on running a football club he should have cut his losses some time ago and gone. His philosopy is to buy cheap and sell at a profit with a minimum investment we would have been in no danger of relegation as always with him he takes the risk. It may work for him in his crappy shops but for us it is just not acceptable. I just want the man gone at all costs surely even he cannot survive another relegation can he?. By the way I have supported the club for 40 yrs and only last two yrs I haven't gone to games because of M Ashley so I believe I have a say.

Sounds like i have struck a nerve here would recommend NUFC blog site for real fans ones on here just seem to want to toe the party line and accept the matra of support the toon it's your duty no matter how badly we are run. Just go back back a bit and do a straw poll if u had said 6 months ago Partridge would be manager people would have laughed out loud. Hang on who made that appointment? To be honest I think people on here are just Johnny comes lately prob having a drink forgotten we have lost 4-0 to f******* Stoke!!! Shameful.

We lost a match, that's all. Most people would be happy with survival this year and we're currently in a pretty good position to do that. Our team doesn't have enough depth to be able to cope with the huge revolving injury list we've had for months now so it isn't surprising that we're having a tough patch.
Look where we are in the table and then look at our coming matches. You have no reason to be such a pessimist and start jumping on the Mike Ashley Ate My Baby bandwagon.

A holier-than-thou attitude does not make you right and if you cannot see another person's point of view then you're kinda missing the point of a 'forum'. Yes it was a mistake not having a signing ready to replace Carroll since it was looking like he could possibly leave well before the window opened but isn't that just as much Pardew's fault for not trying to bring bodies in?

This is a bad defeat, no doubt but it's all too easy to blame the big fat man who nobody likes, the players need to take responsibility now and then too!

He sold our best striker? Who still isn't match fit, so not really relevant he wouldn't have been playing since January anyway. 3 games since we sold him.

Mike Ashley is to blame do you agree?
He is a tight bastard, he doesn't invest in the team.
He didnt bring anyone in during the transfer window, oh he did shefdi kuki oh he is **** anyway and didnt cost anything.
He saked Chris Hughton and he don't bring in a top class manager.
    He is completely useless

Can't see you lot going down, it's not easy playing at Stoke, I can see you lot picking yourselves up, for relegation I think it will be any 3 from the bottom 6 & I don't think NUFC will be anywhere near relegation

He has sorted out the financial freefall from Shepard.
He is making the club pay for itself, which is fair enough.
He sold Carroll and had no time to buy a replacement, but Carroll wanted to go.
Can see why he got rid of Hughton.
    Pardew is a good manager.

No I agree they are not in the worst position and they are only 2 or 3 wins away from being safe so I think they will be ok

Yeah pards is a good manager so I don't know why I wrote about that, Yeah he has stabled out the club but all he needs to do is put a bit more in, well at least allow pards to bring in 3 or 4 new players who are of a good quality and then you will be in a good position

Ok we have been in top 10 but some of our peformances of late have been dreadfull and I have just been waiting for the slide down league.

Ashley has put **** all into the club this season apart from buying HBA.

Fat man sell's our best striker and bring's in a 34 year old, jesus the guy know's nothing about football.
