You're bollocks. A couple of good results don't change that. Just look at the utter tripe in your squad - Chamack, Walcott ( <laugh> ), Chu-Young, Gervinho, Arshavin, Rosicky, Santos, Mertersacker etc

Mertersacker is quality. Santos is ok, was cheap and probably decent. Rosicky is a decent squad player. Walcott also a decent squad player/super sub. Gervinho will be quality. Him and oxo next year will cause trouble either side of RVP.

ZaGooner, it's only worth attracting 'WC Players' if you can actually sign them which, you don't - Note I said 'Don't' and not 'Can't' We are were we are and it's simply not good enough. We desire CL football but seem, year after year to struggle to achieve this. It's not easy being a LFC fan, but fans we are and fans we will stay. KD is the manager so we will stick by him and his team, whatever we may think of them, and believe me, I don't rate Andy Carroll because he does nothing but whine and moan.

We have made mistakes in the transfer market like any other team, but it's how we use those players and how we manage them. I doun't believe there is a manager in the football league that wouldn't want to defend his players the way KD defended Suarez, whatever other teams/fans may think, you would stand by your family if they were accused of something they sternly defended. So you'll have to excuse us if we do the same. I mean, it's nit like he's the first player to ever do something naughty (winks in the direction of Utd) but he has served his ban and is now trying to play his football.

As for standing by Roy, it was difficult - You say we stand by Dalglish because he's 'One of us' well Souness was and look how he was ejected from the top mans seat. If there not the right man for the job, we should be allowed to air our opinion on the matter - After all, it's us that pays to watch these people perform week in week out. Roy is a good manager for a team that doesn't bring pressure. At Anfield you are expected to hit top 4 and at least 1 cup...Roy never looked like hitting either of those. At Fulham and West Brom, all the manager is expected to achieve is Premiership survival or mid table - Limited pressure means he can happily go about his job. Why do you think Moyes has lasted so long at Goodison?

I haven't tried to WUM anyone in this post, just wanted to put a few different slants on things people have said

Fair points, but why did you quote me, I never mentioned any of the things you listed in your argument bar the bit about attracting WC players. You might have been reading someone elses post mate <ok>
We do sign WC players, young players, our major prob is that we don't hold onto them over the years. 'Nuff said.

He's back! Our bet isn't looking too great for you - tell you what, I'll let you settle it now at half price up front rather than have the agony of seeing Spurs collapse for the rest of the season <ok>

and yet despite being seventh after spending a City/Chelsea size transfer budget Kenny is seen as a tactical genius and superb man manager. To suggest he's failed and should be given the boot is heresy.

Whereas good old Roy is only a few points off you in the table with a team that was fighting relegation when he took over.

Can you just admit that LFC are even further behind the pace setters than under Roy and maybe if Roy had gotten the support and budget Kenny has he could have done better.

You say any manager in the league would have defended Suarez the way Dalglish did. I say NO ONE in the league would have done what Dalglish did. It is one thing protecting your players but quite another defending to the hilt actions which are inexcuasable and indefensible. When there was choice to be made between Suarez ego and the wider good of the community he chose the former. He couldnt give a sh*t about the impact on the black community. Even when he accepted the punishment he led the ridiculing of the report and to this day he has refused to accept that Suarez did any wrong. He was forced to apologise togther with the club director, the player. He gave the wrong signals to his clubs fans who at the best of times are not the sharpest tools in the box.

Dalglish behavd monstrously. and for that he would need to go a long way to rehabilitate himself in the eyes of many people.

Dalglish is stuck in a long forgotten era. The world's moved on from the 70's and 80's, he hasn't. He's a vile, bitter tool.

He has set back the cause of anti-racism which english football was quite rightly proud of. Suarez was getting all his clues from Dalglish actions and words and continued his thing with Evra and when Cameron gets in on the act you knew that the whole affair had blown into something big.

There is no place for someone with his attitude in today's society.

I once dated a girl from Southport, couldn't understand a word she said when she was drunk but she was fit so that's my excuse, she was friends with Paul Dalglish. She said King Kenny was a miserable ****. She met Alan Hansen a few times and said he was a top bloke.
