    Unfortunately, being a skint student (see my 2nd location) I very rarely make it to games, you can bet I'll care just as much about the result as anyone who's there though. Hope it's a great game and anyone who is lucky enough to be there enjoys it and doesn't have any trouble to deal with.

    You think Mauled by the Tigers is meant to be genuinely intimidating?

    You think we're actually doing our best to look like real tigers? Saying it's a great chant and that it's ironic are the same thing. The reason it was funny (before everyone got all serious about it) was the irony involved.

    People who 'choose' which club they follow as opposed to real family or geographic connections do tend to be feeble types trying to fill the void in their personality don't they?

    People knock 'Mauled By the Tigers' but it only get sung when City are wiping the floor with someone (in this case Arsenal) and their disbelieving muppet fans look on glumly.

    Rubbing salt in the wound a bit like at Newcastle in front of 60K pished off geordies who also couldn't believe the local galacticos were getting turned over.

    But when Leeds sing 'Champions of Europe' it's not even funny - it merely makes the singers look like lonely fantasists.

    They're not even champions of Yorkshire, ffs.

    Do the hull fans have a massive chips on their shoulders? We had a fantastic match against them on Saturday, and should have lost badly. Even after this, all the banter was good natured.
