You really are dim.

Kenny Dalglish in his own words explained that the disaster played a large part in his decision to leave.

Are you saying he used the disaster as an excuse to leave?

I suppose in your opinion the holocaust never happened.

your a sick ****er end of lad.

I don't know why you're turning this into a Hillsborough thing. There's really no need to.

Dont twist things lad,you stated that Dalglish left LFC because of David Speedie and not being good enough.

I pointed out that he left for reasons i've stated and you dissed the real reason he left and in doing so your saying he lied when he said the disaster and its aftermath was the reason.

Now either back up what you say or **** off.

I think he choked when he realised the team he inherited was past it and the players he was bringing in weren't good enough. No doubt Hillsborough did have a huge impact on him but I don't think it is the sole reason he quit. I have a different opinion to you, get over it, it's crass to make out like I'm mocking Hillsborough because I clearly haven't.

    <laugh>

We were top of the laeague when he left.

He signed Beardsley,Barnes,Houghton and Aldo among others.

He stated his reasons for leaving and Hillsborough played its part.

After the Heysel Stadium disaster in 1985 and Joe ***an's subsequent resignation as manager, Dalglish became player-manager of Liverpool. In his first season in charge in 1985–86, he guided the club to its first "double". Liverpool achieved this by winning the League Championship by two points over Everton (Dalglish himself scored the winner in a 1–0 victory overChelsea at Stamford Bridge to secure the title on the final day of the season[SUP][22][/SUP]), and the FA Cup by beating Everton in the final.[SUP][29][/SUP] The following season was trophyless for Liverpool. Before the 1987–88 season, Dalglish signed a number of new players: Peter Beardsley from Newcastle, John Aldridge from Oxford United (who replaced Ian Rush); winger John Barnesfrom Watford; and Oxford United midfielder Ray Houghton. The new-look Liverpool side shaped by Dalglish topped the league for almost the entire season, and had a run of 37 matches unbeaten in all competitions (including 29 in the league; 22 wins and 7 draws) from the beginning of the season to 21 February 1988, when they lost to Everton in the league. Liverpool were crowned champions with four games left to play, having suffered just two defeats from 40 games. However, Dalglish's side lost the 1988 FA Cup Final to underdogs Wimbledon.[SUP][30][/SUP]Dalglish guided Liverpool to victory over Everton in the second all-Merseyside F.A. Cup final in 1989, but was deprived of a second double in the last minute of the final game of the season. In the 1989–90 season Liverpool won their third league title under Dalglish. At the end of the season Dalglish also received his third Manager of the Year award. Dalglish resigned as manager of Liverpool (on health grounds[SUP][31][/SUP]) on 22 February 1991, two days after a 4–4 draw with rivals Everton[SUP][32][/SUP] in which Liverpool surrendered the lead four times. At the time of his resignation, the club were three points ahead in the league and still in contention for the FA Cup.[SUP][33][/SUP][h=4][/h][h=4]Hillsborough disaster[/h]Dalglish was the manager of Liverpool at the time of the Hillsborough disaster on 15 April 1989. The disaster claimed 94 lives on the day, with the final death toll reaching 96. Dalglish attended many funerals of the victims – including four in one day[SUP][34][/SUP] – and was greatly praised for the dignity and compassion he showed in the aftermath of the tragedy.[SUP][35][/SUP] Dalglish broke a twenty-year silence about the disaster in March 2009. He expressed regret that the police and the FA did not consider delaying the kick-off of the match, a move which might have averted the 96 deaths.[SUP][36][/SUP] During the Hillsborough Memorial Service on 15 April 2011, Liverpool MP Steve Rotherham announced that he would submit an Early Day Motion to have Dalglish knighted, "not only for his outstanding playing and managerial career, but also the charity work he has done with his wife, Marina, for breast cancer support and what he did after Hillsborough. It is common knowledge it affected him deeply".[SUP][37]

    Now back up your bullshit?

I haven't made any derogatory remarks about Hillsborough you ignorant ****. If you want to turn this into a Hillsborough thing then that's your call. It's a pretty sick way to score points but whatever gets you hard buddy.

Yep, you were top of the league and were starting to stumble. Aldridge was sold two years before Kenny left. Beardsley and Houghton didn't last long after he left. The team was old and what was coming through wasn't a patch on the team Kenny had played in and inherited in the 80's. That's fairly undeniable as Arsenal ended up winning the league that year at a canter and you haven't won it since. I don't deny Hillsborough caused him a lot of stress and grief but I also think he doesn't fancy it when things aren't going his way. It's just an opinion but if it makes you feel better to call me a sick **** and fabricate insults about Hillsborough then you go for it pal. Bit twisted if you ask me.

I've heard enough of your opinions. They are not based on fact but purely on whatever is going on in your head.

The real reason for Dalglieh's departure has been identified to you but you feel that your opinion is inviolate. In that case I suggest you go and share it on your own board and stop annoying people on this one. To continue to do so is both arrogant and childish.

Your a troll, and since joining you've been on our board looking for confrontation and making snide remarks.

After your 1st comment on why you imagined KD left LFC i put you right, yet you brushed the deaths of 96 people under the carpet and kept up your pathetic wumming.

Kenny did the Hillsborough families and our club proud and as has been pointed out to you many times to you he left because of the stress he endured in the aftermath, you make a point about him buying Speedie yet overlook the likes of Aldo and Rushie etc,you also pathetically say he left a crumbling Liverpool that were top of the league at the time he left.

Your just a wum with no class and no knowledge(except the crap you make up in your head).

If you calmed down and actually read what I posted instead of completely losing the plot you'd realise that I didn't make any derogatory remarks about Hillsborough (if you can find any feel free to quote them) and I said the team was past its best which is a fact. Basically you don't like me having an opinion that doesn't fit with yours and so you went on the offensive and started making unfounded accusations. Whatever turns you on dolly.

Now that I have stopped laughing..

Your team have no hope of getting 4th. Lucky against Liverpool and Lucky spurs are falling apart. You will drop 9 points at least before seasons end RvP is the only reason you are not 13th, but why let truth get in the way of a good delusional tale<ok>

The players that left and retired from those days just could not be replaced, it was the best club team in the world and you hadn't got teh transfer markets you have today, it was impossible, a new team had to be built. But thats reality, I know you dont wish to discuss that.

End of an Era of which I was glad to catch a good few years of:)
