    Okay, so both sets of fans have had their say, and given their opinion - some more mental than others. But instead of dealing in biased opinion, let's have a look at Derby Day FACTS. This is for FACTS only.

    • It is a FACT That Newcastle had 63% of POSSESSION
    • It is a FACT That Newcastle had 19 CORNERS to Sunderland's 4
    • It is a FACT That Newcastle had 29 Goal ATTEMPTS to Sunderland's 8
    • It is a FACT That Newcastle rattled the CROSSBAR and missed from the penalty spot
    • It is a FACT That Cheik Tiote COMPLETED more passes than any other player
    • It is a FACT That Cheik Tiote completed more passes than Cattermole, Gardner and Larsson COMBINED
    • It is a FACT That Sunderland committed most FOULS in the match (15)
    • It is a FACT That Sunderland AGAIN saw red. Two red cards, meaning...

    Its a fact Newcastle scored only one goal and had 11 players, and Sunderland scored one goal and had 9 players.

    The only fact that matters, whether in upper or lower case, is that the game finished 1-1. Some people seem to forget that in the aftermath of a derby game.

    BTW, you also said we haven't won at the SDA since 2001/01 :)

    It is a fact that Sunderland also, scored only one goal, and started the match with 11 men. That your management again failed to control your players is your own fault, and your own problem. As for 9 players, not sure how much Cattermole's dismissal AFTER the final whistle really affected the game?

    Apple Pie: Yip, and my reply offered some context; I didn't say you manipulated anything though? Having men sent off, unfortunately appears to always be a fact for Sunderland in derbies these days (4 in 4), and is a problem that you need to address. Continuing to have stacks of shots, possession, and corners in games as well as a significant league lead over our local rivals will do Newcastle no harm, what so ever.

    Nope, just an opinion.

    It is a FACT that Sessegnon was sent off for violent conduct against Tiote.
    It is a FACT that Titoe completed more passes than Cattermole, Larsson and Gardner combined.

    Facts see, not opinions. Not that hard, surely?

    Cry me a river.

    Did you want the referee to send him off for play acting?

    In that case should Larsson have been sent off at Wolves for that horrendous dive and obviously REALLY should have been sent off back in August for the handball incident and then telling the linesman that the ball had hit his face.
