I have no problem with Portsmouth fans. Only their inability to accept that their club cheated to win the FA Cup. Ben Haim WAS on 36K a week (before taking his recent wage cut). Also, at the time, we COULD afford those astronomical wages and big players Gaydamark opened his wallet, and was our main source of income. What we hadn't planned for; and what eventually happened, was that funding suddenly stopped! What people like you seem to not be able to grasp is that if you took the primary funding away from most clubs, they would be in the ****, as they rely heavily on outside investment. Cheating? No, all clubs are doing it. Victims of misfortunate situation? Yes, and the worrying thing is that it could happen to any club (with a miniscule number of exceptions - Ipswich is not one) in the future.

You clearly couldn't afford those wages, because if you could you would not have been in admin twice in little over a year. You make excuses that it was Gaydamak's fault, but what about your second admin. You were outbidding bigger clubs that were better run finacially for players such as Norris. You turned down bids for players in the window, with your CEO turning off his phone. The rewritting of history is unbelievable on here. You could not afford the players, then and you can not afford them now. If you could, you wouldn't be where you are now. How do you explain your second admin, Gaydamak didn't withdraw funding from that?
