Me too. It's strange looking back at seasons gone by. There's so much and so many people I'd forgotten. Watching that was incredible, a real eye opener and like you say, it reminds me of just how special last season was, or more accurately, how good things felt the minute NW arrived. Just seeing the league table again makes me smile, like looking at a childhood photo. I feel a renewed sadness though now at warnocks departure. He was great for us, and us for him. It was a perfect marriage. He found qualities in players who had looked average before and added the steel, fight and quality that was needed elsewhere. A true QPR legend. Amit seems brilliant, genuine and clear minded. Its real for him. He understands what we are. Emotional stuff. Great viewing.
Caught part of this, but it's there on Sky+ for me for later on. The bit I did see though (from when Sousa joined, to when he left) was enlightening. It's incredible how much Palladini thought he knew compared to how much he actually knew, and it's incredible just how big a knob-head Briatore was. That shot of him getting into his car outside the ground, yelling for the names of the fans that had booed him was priceless. I'll comment further once I've seen it all later tonight.
Exactly how i am feeling...I was delighted when he came to QPR.....A legend indeed... Great film...couldn't sleep for a while afterwards...
quite amazing really. Interesting look into our club. I just wonder how many Pompey fans had a look and wondered how their "owners" "Leaders" manage their club. Eccles moaning about the drinks in the dressing room, and yet this little runt spent how many millions on his daughters wedding? Final thought...although we have a had a tough season so far in the premier league, and our future in this division may not last, we are in a much better place now than we have been. I don't think that we will go down but you can never be sure. Noticed Hogan was quite vocal and I sometimes wonder whether that counts against him. Also, Mikele speaking at a press conference - just wonder IF some of those players got their cards marked hence the reason they are not around
Well worth the wait. Some of that was really surreal and how we turned it round from Warnock's appointment is a testament to how good a job he really did. My favourite clip was the Birmingham match where Amit sees the fanzine with Flav and his Mini-Me and Amit says we've got to get a copy - priceless!...
Best bit is when Briatore's gives instruction to Paladini via massueuse to Aisworth to bring on Gavin Mahon and then he goes and scores a late winner. Couldnt make it up!!
442 442 442 442 442 442 Youve got to admire Flav's determination haven't you?? Good film and essential viewing for all football fans. Those of us at 'smaller / blighted' clubs and also fans of the Big 6 who don't know how lucky they are
Just watched it on iPlayer. Real emotional roller coaster (just like being a fan). The film shows that FLABBYO knows **** all about football. NW is a God, and despite everything you can see how much the club meant to Gianni Palladini. Cried my eyes out when the news came through that there would be no points sanction from the FA and I did exactly the same watching the film! What a ****!!!!
It was almost as if Flav & Bernie occupied some parallel universe, especially Flav, it was surreal at times. Also Paladini came across as some sort of Arthur Daley figure mind i felt some sympathy with him after getting the news of the FA's decision and him crying in a corner. As soon as NW came in the whole thing changed, no more interference from Flav, Amit making sure that business was conducted properly, i feel we are now in safe hands. I'm glad that all the current players & management have seen this because i don't think that anyone could believe what had really happened in the previous years and perhaps they now understand the desire of the fans to ensure we stay in the prem after years of struggle. What odds on NW getting Leeds promoted next season? Keep the faith.
What a crazy watch that was. Must have been a total madhouse for players with those meetings every few weeks/months. Flav was all we thought he was, and worse. While Paladini did show some emotions - he came across as a complete numpty (I can only have contempt for that guy I'mafraid). Amit, and Sakshena for the work he did put in, came out of it with a lot of kudos. Seemed like a hard job trying to get things done, but that he did. Feels so much better knowing that he is sitting up there now - if only he had gotten his full 50% of share, he certainly earn't the right to buy them. Let's hope the future remains bright for the years to come - especially after those dark years!! Phew
Great watch, My favourite bit was the look on the players faces when they were sat down on several occasions and preached to you could seeing their minds, espicially Cook's, thinking what a load of **** these guys are spouting off and wondering what next! Also liked the bit when Fitz Hall questioned what was going on selling Blackstock shows he has got balls.
Is it you that looks like a 22 year old Madonna? Haven't seen the film yet, but if that's you, I won't miss ya when I do!
got no idea what you look like Cerny..... were you one of the crowd singing "we want OUR Rangers back?"
