MR, unlike a lot of Newcastle posters, I care little for childish slanging matches, I'd rather go off and do something else. If you want to talk properly about the game this is a chance.
Sessegnon deserved to go, that we can agree on. Tiote acted like a big girls blouse, but so would a lot of other players, and neither Newcastle or Sunderland can take the moral high ground and say they wouldn't do anything to gain an advantage in a derby (Larsson). I hope we can agree on that too.
This 12 man comment I don't understand. I outlined in my last post some the major decisions and most went your way. If you have any others to back up your argument, please list them.
And I don't think we scraped a draw, we missed a penalty and had chance after chance after chance. I think we were the better team, but didn't deserve to win as we could not stick the ball in the net. A draw was a fair result, that is my opinion

Tiote was continually fouling the whole game, nasty cowardly little fouls as well from behind.
The sort of fouls I used to retaliate against when I played.
When the referee EVENTUALLY got round to booking him he held up his hand as if to say, for the previous five.
Well he couldn't signify 20 on one hand.

Your fans claiming Cattermole was dirty the rest of the game after his booking is just laughable.
But understandable to cover up how bad Tiote was.
He was immense and didn't come close to receiving a second card.

If you watch as Catts is talking to him, the refs hand like a gunslingers swinging backwards and forwards to his holster.

I agree with everything you say there, Tiote could easily have gone on another day. But on another day, you wouldn't have got a penalty, and a pickier ref would have sent off both Cattermole and McClean, so I don't believe there was any bias in our favour there

I have been keeping well out of this, packed in smoking on Sat and really cant be arsed with all this wummery.

But a lot of the mags are 2 faced ****s.

Bruce running down the line when Gyan scored in the last minute, Disgraceful, if our manager ever does that i would be embarressed and wouldnt have anything to do with him. (see below, he did)

Pardew runs down the line and pumps his hands in the air towards the Sunderland Bench (not away from it) when they got a pen and thats fine and dandy.

Gyan Scores a last minute goal, we were lucky, they score a last minute goal, they had us all over and they are proud of the players, we do it we should be ashamed.

It was 1-1 is was a decent game, STFU and move on ffs.

PS: name me 1 player that if they handled the ball on the line, and the ref didnt spot it, they would go "look ref I handled it, send me off and they need a pen" I cant think of any, Steven Taylor maybe. hmmmm maybe not.

 

I agree it was a blatant penalty, but there were at least 2 other instances no more than 10 yards in front of me of identical fouling on Newcastle players.
I didn't see any elbow from Tiote so will have to take your word for that.
And neither manager came out with much credit. Pardew was a lot worse than O'Neill, but they both left their technical areas to confront each other, so have both let themselves down.
