Anyone have a clue what the team will be?
The only players that will defently start are Gazza, Jackman Lee Whipdale then maybe Richards, Montrose Payne, Kedwell kuffer Essam Evans
Then theres King , Davies. Lee Obita, Miller Weston Spillar. A real tough call by Hessy. At least we are on a good little run.

Judging by that report, we just need 7 players in defence to deal with McLeod, and hope that we can nick a goal from a set piece...

But in all seriousness, the team you've laid out above BRB concerns me greatly. Little to no creativity, and certainly a lack of cutting edge. Here's to hoping a half fit Kuffour/Kedwell might feature, but may have to grind out a victory, if at all.

PS - howcomes our injury list is so effing long?

We are down to the bare bones Tom Tom.

I did a count up earlier today, I think I counted eleven injured and one suspended, then I remembered Birchall ! So forget the creativity and cutting edge mate.

I assume we could still fall back on Lawrence, as long as he hasn't got to move...only joking - we might have too.

Oli forget it. Richards if you want but he ain't coming near my teamsheet.

brb You might want to send the medical reports to your ' green ' friends. I have now seen Martin's 2nd booking tackle close up - I think the referee was very harsh to judge it as bookable - and Richards probably was one of the best Gills players on the day. I share your thought about him & Lawrence - but if we can play with Jackman & C-Lee as fullbacks ( if Evans is out ) & put Lawrence in the middle he might be able to do a job on McLeod. We can look at a different formation for Crewe based on fit players.

We thought it would be easier against Rotherham as the day before we were due to play, Le Fondre left the Millers. We lost 3-0.
McLeod is 'just' one player.......if we can do a Plymouth type team job ...with home advantage I'm hopeful of just shaving it 2-1. Richards deserves a start after Saturday. Forget the 5-4 roller coaster I'd settle for 1-0 wins all the way now (except over Swindon and Crawley).

As an aside, where is Matt Fish these days?

btw WINDYROG, I've said it once and I am not going to tell you again...Richards ain't coming anywhere near my team sheet <whistle>

alwaysright - I've no problem with Lawrence coming back in if need be <ok> Can Essam play as right back? If so push C-Lee up to the middle.
