    Hi Wycombe fans <ok>

I do not come on Not606 anymore but I did promise I would re-asses your current plight at the start of March so here I am keeping my promise.

Not that you need reminding but mostly for my benefit as I write this here are the results since I last said something on here.
    Brentford 5-2 Wycombe
    Wycombe 2-1 Tranmere
    Sheff Utd 3-0 Wycombe
    Wycombe 2-3 YeovilWalsall 2-0 Wycombe
Wycombe 5-0 Hartlepool - Note the ex Norwich players getting most of the goals
    Scunthorpe 4-1 Wycombe

Rocky told me you would lose to Yeovil, so well done Rocky - spot on mate <ok> Are they your bogey side then?

Brentford away is never easy for anyone, Sheff Utd away - even a point would have been a miracle, Walsall away, again can be a tricky place to visit but I had hoped for better as it was a 6 pointer. Scunny looks like a big blow from where I am sitting.

Where did the Hartlepool score come from? That raised a few eyebrows around the country I can tell you!

All in all I am sorry to say I have not changed my mind, which was pretty much made up in January. It looks like an immediate return and re-building work needed. I know most of you guys are probably resigned to that as your fate this time but don't let it ruin your year, as much as it hurts. (I know, we have had our dreadful times recently too).

My next question is - Gary Doherty & Paul Hayes - are these loan signings? The Doc will do a decent job for you if his legs don't go from under him. He was superb in L1 for us 2 years ago and will score his share of goals from corners and free kicks.
Paul Hayes - I was really annoyed when he left Norwich what seems like many years ago, he always had the potential (I thought) but I think some misdemeanors (I could be wrong) meant the club were not going to let him stay. He has always scored goals wherever he has played so if permanent then a good player to have next season.

Hi Rocky, I have just grown tired of too many people beating their chest and resorting to insults when you have a different opinion. I am not talking about directly aimed at myself, just in general. I participate on other forums that are not football related and they are like a breath of fresh air. Adults talking to each other without the insults and bile that appears on here far too much for my liking. I may drop in on the odd 'people friendly' board such as this one (must admit I have nothing but total respect for you guys for the way I have been welcomed here <ok>)

Shame those guys are only short term loans, both would be very useful next season but I would imagine Doherty's wages might a bit much for a L2 side unless you pull in much bigger crowds every week.

I would still love to see your guys make the great escape if they can, just don't think they can sadly. As you say though, if the worst happens then hopefully you can celebrate more often on Saturday's in L2 <ok>

Absolutely no interest in horses Ron, and as i am living in Thailand I have nearly forgotten what they even look like! Seriously, I have seen only 2 horses in the wild in my 2 years here!

You might have a point there mate!

I believe they do still eat them in Vietnam, and in Laos, which is just 40km or so away from here they eat goats and yet in Thailand there is not a single goat to be seen.

There are many bizarre foods they eat over here and it's enough to make many western stomachs churn a bit - frogs, chicken eggs that are nearly fully incubated, ants, lizards, Bee larve straight from the hive, crickets, snails etc. Most of their local basic foods are leaves and grass which on their own are terrible and have very little nutrition, small wonder health levels are comparatively low and death comes to most much earlier here (mid 60's is a good innings).

Not all of it is awful, some of their food is wonderful (if you like Chilies) but they do have a tendency to enjoy very sour food, something I just cannot do myself.

That's because you ate them all. You are supposed to leave at least one of each sex.

Amanda went to dinner at one of her clients and during the meal they were discussing their horses. One of the client's horses had a slight swelling on the hock that he was worried about. Amanda said that she once had a horse like that to which he replied (in all seriousness) "Oh, did you eat him?" Talk about gob smacked. The horse was actually very successful at national and international level and he wondered if she ate it <yikes>

Well if we would have backed the move to Booker I am sure the crowds would come streaming in! :)
