Just read this quote from one of the scousers on here:

" we (scousers) are currently in a Transitionperiod..."

In football how long can a transition period be? Twenty years? <ok>

They are ****ing miles away from challenging for the title. They are going to finish this season in the same league position as last season (at best) and even more points behind the eventual champions. The only difference is that they are considerably poorer and less likely to invest in the squad. Dalglish has done a ****ing terrible job, long may he reign.

The only part of Liverpool that hasn't been in transition is their fans.

They still think it is 1990.

The irony of it all is that they still think they are still a big club. A historical one <ok>
Dalglish also says: we need to give Henderson, downing, Adam, Carroll and the rest of he team time to gel...

Those spells between titles can last a long old time.

    Man Utd 1911-1952 - 41 years.
Liverpool don't have long to go to match their longest barren spell - 1923-1947 - 24 years.

Everyone has a way to go to catch Aston Villa 1910-1981 - 71 years.

And then there is Preston North End 1890-present - 121 years and counting.

No, that can't be right. Everyone knows that the cycle of success and failure only ever lasts twenty years. Or is that just the Liverpool fans... <laugh>

Just the three articles on the united board about Liverpool today. You would have thought such a big club like united would have a few more fans on here talking about their own club but their board is as boring as ****.

How about you support a club from your own country?

I read that Mandy Carroll is comparable to Rooney on a bad day.I remember that bad day he had against City that resulted in one of the goals of the season.<laugh>.Still good fun taking the mick out of you lot though.

Well the Soviet Union managed to get through 13 five year plans before finally calling it a day. I reckon Liverpool will probably manage the same, given time <ok>
