Lets face it were 11th, 4 points clear of relegation, and +13 goals over Wolves which is probably worth atleast another point. At the beginning of the year if people had offered us that we would of bit their hand off.

Exactly, we've got at least 11+ goals on anyone 13th and below, we're very lucky that we can lose by 4 goals and still only be -1 on goal difference. Pray to God it doesn't get to a point where the goal difference becomes relevant though.

this board is worse than 606 - you can't even voice an opinion without getting slagged off. Just because you (Donkey Toon) think Pardew is a saint, it doesn't mean I have to agree.

Lets look on the bright side for a moment, eh? :)
We could quite easily get some points from our last 8 games, despite the massive injury list we have.

Wolves (h) - 3 points, Irelands back aswell, and Gutierrez would be fit again
Villa (a) A point here, and i'd be happy
Blackpool (a) A point or a loss, difficult to predict. Tiote would be back though
Liverpool (a) Fielding a full strength side, could easily nick a point
Birmingham (h) 3 points, we've done it before, and were at home
Chelsea (a) Nothing from here, unfortunately
West Brom (h) A point, and i'd be fine with that
Man United (h) Nothing from here.

I know footballs hard to predict, but still, if that were to happen, we could get 9 or so points, which would put us into safety
Newcastle arent out of the woods yet, but it could be worse :p

VERY hard to predict. Judging by our season so far though, we'll get stuffed by Wolves, **** Villa over, lose to Blackpool, **** Liverpool over, Lose to Brum, **** Chelsea over, lose to Brom, **** Manc over. Who knows what could happen haha

If you want to voice an opinion that nobody else will agree with you will have to explain why rather than saying he hasnt done anything for us. He hasnt been manager long enough to have done anything positive or negative. (Playing Lovenkrands is a negative, but probably not a sackworthy offence).

Get behind him and the team, or give us a better reason why not to rather than just saying Pardew out and whining when the masses disagree.

Its too early to panic yet but I am a bit worried that we have only won one in the last ten. I'm not critical of Pardew because the 5-3-2 didn't seem to work but do think he should have changed the formation sooner when it was obvious that it wasn't working out. Also think he made a mistake in playing Enrique and Barton, both of whom were obviously not match fit.

Still on the bright side, Ferguson really took his chance, I wont be at all concerned to see his name on the teamsheet in future.

My calling you a wum had nothing to do with opinions about Pardew. Every comment you have made on this thread has been either reactionary and against the general opinion of the majority of posters, or showed a major lack of knowledge about the club. That is why I think you are a wum.

And my original request still stands!

I honestly have not seen any improvement since Pardew took over. Wasn't that why he was given the job and Hughton sacked - because he would make the team better than Hughton could? We are losing more and more matches against what I consider to be "poorer" opposition - it's not getting better. Pardew's team selection and late subs are as confusing and comical as when we had JFK in charge.

We lost against so-called 'poorer' opposition under Hughton, dont forget that. I see no team as 'poorer' opposition this season, each team has as much ability to win as every other team. It's just a very tight season, and we've had some very bad luck with injuries. We have a very thin squad at the minute.

Does anyone know if Ireland is going to play a match for us or is he already ruled out for the rest of the season?

Ashley needs to put some money in he cant be a tight bastard anymore, he is a complete **** and will ruin the club if he continues to put the health of his bank account first.

doing AS english lit, and we had to write in a dystopian style for our coursework so we looked at kafkaesque ideas and themes in the trial that could help us :)
rather do something like that than pride and prejudice!
