Yeah i listened to his terrible commentary and yes the constant use of the word pelanty got on my nerves so much i muted it.
Im really pleased folk have picked up on this....As a broadcaster he must be thinking....I know I`ll say this to the 0.000000000000000001 % of the population who have a clue what Im talking about.... The other thing I know about this is when I was a kid if there was a youngun who mispronounced like this he`d have had the pish taken out of him by older kids till he changed.... God the cry which everybody used when somebody handled or fouled was/is "PENNA"....Ive never heard anybody say PELLA!!!!!.....Hes definitely saying this on purpose It intrigues me really...youre talking about somebody who has played in France...I think he speaks a bit of French....wonder if he mis pronounced it in French as well.... ....or German....Penalty is elf meter......"health metre" would be a good one there Chris.....
