To be honest, as crap as he is; this shouldn't really matter. We're better than TWS, better than Colin, and if we play to the best of our ability on Tuesday night we will win. Simple. The sad truth is though that 48 hours from now we will probably talking about atwell's key decisions! Hopefully it will work in our favour though
Oh god not this clown again. Nearly every game he refs there's been a contentious decision of some sort.
In the Crawley game we couldn't get going at all largely because they played the ref so cleverly; their defenders were massive and threw Fryatt about like a rag doll and he got nothing from Attwell. In the middle, every free kick that Sergio Torres asked for, he got without question. The worrying thing is this is exactly what Leeds do. That bloody Snodgrass is always knocking people about while the ball is in the air so no one is looking. He's also incredibly good at 'winning' free kicks with his incessant whining. You'll notice how much he is in the ref's ear and it'll win him plenty of free kick opportunities.
But they don't. Oh god you've just given me the thought of Dawson marking Snodgrass. That makes things even worse because he will probably have a good tug of Snodgrass' shirt now and then as he likes to do lately and there's no chance Snodgrass will stay on his feet and ignore it.
We're too honest. What ISTPLT said is spot on. Warnock is an absolute master at knowing what every referee is like and "playing" them. He will have his team doing all the niggling little semi-fouls and shirt-pulls, obstructions, off-the-ball shoves, you name it, because he knows Atwell is weak and doesn't pick sides up for for the gamesmanship stuff.
He's left-footed but unless something's changed since earlier this season he definitely plays on the right.
. From memory Snodgrass is a decent free kick taker. Hope Daws is on the ball (no pun intended) tomorrow night. Unless we see Dudgeon come in at all.
