I was at the game yesterday, sitting with the baggies fans. The lad I went with (a baggies fan) said to me "It would be funny if we won today and your lot sacked your manager, cos it seems that WBA have a hoodoo over teams sacking thier managers after loosing to us". Mick Mcarthy for one and last year Chris Houghton. So other teams beware dont loose to The Baggies if you want to hold on to your manager. On another note I am glad he has gone, and wish all the luck in the world to RDM. At least he played with a smile and manages with one too.

Roman Abramovich is living proof of the old adage " A fool and his money are soon parted " What an absolute moron of a human being, get rid of the guy who only 6 months ago was given 3 years, yet keep the very real, treacherous, leaches who are at the core of our football problems. Great work again Roman, and as for Gourley and Buck, what a pair of gutless arse lickers.
Robby de Mateo, get the **** out of there before you become the next fall guy. The patients are running the asylum.

Sorry but Gorlay and Buck are probably more to blame than Roman.

No need for the petty insults, we all support the same team here <doh>

My big hope was that Inter would have sacked him then we could get him on a short term contract when AVB was inevitably sacked

Never been a fan, he's an attention seeking prat!

If we went British I'd take Moyes. Rodgers would be decent but he is also still learning his trade.

I think its a shame. I think if you had kept AVB you would of been really a force in a few years. His decision making on players was spot on imo. He had to move away from the declining older players. Lampard and cole arent that good anymore. Time to move on imo. Sturridge and mata are examples of the future of chelsea.

When you play 1 up front and that 1 is torres who is basically a spent force then its hard to win. I dont think you can blame avb for that because he didnt buy torres.

Would moyes take it though? If I was him I wouldnt want it. Would be mission impossible to sort out this club int he long term. Although might be too good an opportunity for him to pass up. Any manager coming in now knows that the players have the power at chelsea. Not exactly a good thing to come in to. Maybe only someone as charismatic as Mourinho or as legendary as Fergie/Lippi/Capello could really take the power away from the players. And I doubt you will either get (obv fergie, jose) or want those people.

It's another bizzare move by RA, but that's not really a suprise. I would have kept him, and sold the players making the trouble. Di Matteo now has the most unenviable job in english football, having to deal with spoilt twats like Terry and Lampard.

It's called the big picture. Takes more than half a season to sort out our demented club. See you next year , same time ,same place, same scenario.

This clown is incapable of discussion without insults. I think he's Gourley and Bucks love child. He's certainly a child.

It's an internet rule i believe. If losing an argument, resort to pathetic insults.

Back to RA, he must see the team needs an overhaul. The core of this side is getting to be well past it's sell by date, if you're serious about mounting a title challenge, 2-3 years of mediocrity whilst blooding in youngsters in required. However, you don't want to get caught in a circle of mediocrity, like we have, where you use the young team excuse for 7 straight seasons.
