Liverpool always up their game for United. Its their Cup final and Kenny is inept tactically, even worst than Wenger. Kenny regularly doesn't make Subs until its too late, Keeps playing Adam, Downing and Carroll (****e he bought) when they have other options inc Maxi, Shelvey, Bellamy, Spearing, 5 in midfield etc. Having spent 50+ million on strikers they still can't hit a barn door and even manage to bottle most penalties. Lets not go into his man management either. On the plus side at least Wenger seems to have learnt. The last match and a half Arsenal actually played with a bit of tempo and directness looking to get the ball forward and score instead of passing. Only took him 7 years. Now if only he can develop a "Plan B" and buy a backup to RVP he might make it as a football manager after all.
Actually it's honours even - a Utd win in the league at OT, a draw in the league at Anfield, and a win in the cup for Liverpool at Anfield.
Wenger has changed tactics this year. He has moved away from possesion football somewhat and has gone back to more of how the invincibles played. I think its a god thing and makes me exited about next year. Provided wenger is very very active in the transfer window of course.
Maybe it's not that you've changed tactics deliberately, it's that you don't have the players to play keep ball, afterall you've lost Fabregas, Nasri and Wilshire's been injured all season. 3 players who all pass the ball realy well

Maybe if Queen Kenny's big money signings showed abit of quality infront of goal, then you would have been out of sight, long before RVP nicked it at the death. It was an interesting stat that Alan Hansen mentioned on MOTD, that Liverpool are only above 5 teams in goals scored this season. A shocking return from a strike force that cost 57 million. And to top it all off he forked out 20 million on Downing, arguably the most wasteful midfield player in the PL. 0 Goals and 0 Assists, despite playing almost every game. You need to get Kenny out, before he's let loose with next seasons transfer kitty
Yep,we battered them without scoring from our chances,goals win games and they won. Imo Kenny could have spent the money better but being loyal i'll stick by his signings until they either earn their corn or get ****ed off. Thats what being a loyal supporter is all about,you cant support the team when it suits you,can you?
Your being loyal to Kenny because he's one of your own. He did win the CC, fair play for that, but that's just papering over the cracks, because what you realy needed was 4th place, a position that already looks out of sight with 10+ games to play. The fact remains you have spent a heck of alot of money, and haven't progressed up the table. I think if Kenny wasn't one of your own, his job would be under alot of pressure, as 7th at this stage of the season is along way short of were you should be with the money invested. I think most Liverpool fans know this deep down, they just don't want to start criticising a former legend of there club
Fact is KS this season was work in progress and 4th would have been a bonus,i said imo that KD could've spent the money wiser,but **** happens. But a CC Cup and maybe an FA Cup will ease the pain of not getting 4th.
