Slightly less well-known is that Les Parry, the Tranmere manager has been sacked. He was their physio and took over after Digger was sacked. I thought that he always came across very well in interviews. Apparently the initial favourite is Martin "mad-dog" Allen.

An additional to the Chelsea one, Roberto di Matteo is interim coach until the end of the season. I bet Birmingham are wishing that Abramovich had waited 3 days.

Listening to 5 Live whilst preparing dinner - Sir GT is on there and the whole conversation is split between Chelsea sacking their manager and if 'onest 'arry will be the England manager, hardly a word to mention Fulham's big win at home over Wolves. I really hate this part of football..

I must admit I thought I would give the Cottagers v Wolves a miss, switched over just in time to see the last goal go in<yikes> 5-0 good win for the Cottagers, only one way for Wolves to go now and that is we will playing them next year in the Championship;)

Unfortunately that's the way the game is.

Let's say Dyche decides he's had enough with the board next week, but instead of storming out of the club in a strop, he maturely announces that he will stand down at the end of the season. What are we going to spend more time talking about over the next couple of months: that, or our result against Coventry on the 17th?

It's hard for anyone to manage Chelsea with that owner as well as having Terry, Lampard, Cole, Cech, Drogba who run the dressing room <doh>

No-one could ever manage Chelsea without first gaining control and command of all the egos in the dressing room.

WE should get a rather big mention in that, as we but a bit of a dent in their run, and they got promoted at our ground, then proceeded to destroy it!

Morning Ak - Thanks for the coffee, glad you've got blue skies already, makes you feel brighter and happy to face the day.

Rain has stopped here but there is a cold bite in the wind so best to wrap up warm.

There's the answer then - appoint Terry and Lampard as joint player-managers. They seem to think that they already run the place. Better still, eight months down the track they'll both be given the boot. <laugh>

Morning all. I hate mondays!! I have two lectures at uni, but they are at 11 and 3. So i am sitting around in uni (granted working) for 3 hours.

The only upside to today is that i should be able to pick up my new tablet. SO i will be able to play with that and set it up. I cant wait :D

This is what it looks like. Its the Sony S, and having played with it in the shop, it feels great and is very easy to use.

I wonder how much of this "Player Power" at Chelsea is actually that and how much of it is made up by the hacks trying to spin up a story? Where is the evidence? Whenever I have seen fat Frank playing for them it does not look like he is not trying, the same with Terry - although he is an odious person, he never appears not to care. I don't buy it.....has it not dawned on the hacks that many of their players are just ****e?

    Morning all

Just survived local small post office on a Monday morning...a lot of folk queueing to buy one second class stamp! I'd forgotten how long it takes to stick 60 stamps on 30 different envelopes. One drawback of retirement...you no longer have a secretary!
