Oh I know our friends from the north would love us to believe it was a bad day, Catts the thug, Sess the nasty, the ref a disgrace, but its not about that. I have been a Sunderland fan for many years, lots of false dawns, today was a new dawn. A team that may well not be good enough for our future but a team that without any addition in a very short time gained a well deserved draw, with 10 men at the arena. Today was all about what the future holds, time, new players and continued progress. Today was all about the future and the future is looking very good for me, a very good day. Will our friends agree, probably not, do we care, not a lot. Sleep well.
Today was a good day, proving that we have improved since the start of the season .Syd,you are right in your comments, yet again....all us Sunderland fans can go to bed knowing that our club is in the right hands.
The king is dead , " LONG LIVE THE KING " Roll on next season, lets see if the ****ers up the road realise what hits them, also still possabilitys of an FA CUP, and the money every stage/round brings with it. remind me , are the ****ers still in any cup competitions, and please no mention of the FAIRS CUP, thats been played to death.
