Would rather see Rico or Campbell play in Sess' role now that he's suspended with Bridge in at LB. Don't mind who takes Catt's place; Vaughan, Colback or Meyler. Bendtner played well today for the first time but still doesn't convince. He holds ball up well but never picks correct pass IMO and slows our counter attacks by holding onto the ball too long. Plus he's never in the box as any striker should be.
I think he got himself sent off deliberately. Stupid FA rules stipulated a 2 match ban for a booking today but I believe a sending off (providing it wasnt violent conduct) reduces it to a 1 match ban. This would only rule him out of the Liverpool game but makes him available for the cup match. May be wrong but read that before the WBA match.
The thing is, the sending off wasn't a 2nd yellow, it was a straight red which carried 3 games. Then there is the 2 for the 2 games for his 10th yellow. That's how I understand it anyway.
