  2. No Liverpool fan is denying us underachieving. This is purely based on one or two Man Utd posters saying the twenty+ years were complete failure which they clearly aren't. Is nine trophies in 21 years enough? No. Would other clubs be happy? They'd be over the moon!

  4. I actually agree with the swappy bit but not the failure bit. Underachieved yes, but not failure.

But both our clubs aren't like any other clubs, well prem clubs anyway.

I'd say it is failure just due to the standards you have set yourselfs, 20+ years with no league title is failure in my opinion - just like it was for United <ok>

Not saying you and UIR aint got a point Eric, but just as Utd took whatever success was available between titles so have we and theres been quite a lot.

Now if there'd been none it would be failure,as it stands its underachievement based on our title wins.

There are many reasons. Primarily United becoming a professional modern outfit, whist we very much stayed as we were.

We tried to modernise and ended up Hicks and Gillette!

No, now you've ****ed up again. When someone is as ****ing ignorant as you you're much better off posting images. When you try and construct your own sentences or express your own thoughts you make as much sense as Dalglish when he's gibbering after another defeat or trying to defend the indefensible.

Without anyone going off on one how would you Liverpool fans rate Dalglish's performance this season.

Whats he got wrong, whats he got right. Are you better off by a long way or have there been subtle improvements all part of a long term plan.

7 years is mad. Does make me laugh that they give us so much stick.

They play well every year and bottle it.

Nothing changes other than the overall quality of their team.

    Its shocking.

All happened since moving home aswell yet nobody thinks of the emirates as a curse. Clubs in the past have suffered similar fates with new homes and have never recovered.

  14. Your missing the point KingEric07, the argument started because someone said the era is a complete failure. Nine trophies in 21 years is not good enough and, since there are no league titles, it could be classed as a failure, but it is not a complete failure!

That's a good point actually. The Emirates hasn't exactly seen success.

Amazing that the Carling Cup was a legitimate Cup until they lost and we won!

In the case of Arsenal I think it's more to do with the debt from the stadium. In the early years it was a big burden, and then Wenger got so used to managing on a limited budget that he seems unable to spend money even when the board is urging him to do so.

What other clubs do you think have suffered from moving grounds?
