    Hopefully Rooney's goal will bring this game a bit more to life. Has been a bit dull so far. Spurs don't deserve to be 1 down though.

    Well it was definitely a FK that Sandro gave away.

    I hope our lot don't get too dispirited after that. We dominated the first half and, were it not for a 50/50 decision on the handball, we'd at least be level.

    Both Ade and Saha have suffered from first-touch-itis today - need to work on that in the second half.

    cant blame the ref for lots of possesion and tippy tappy bolox...for me we are not direct enough....i knew it would only take a half chance for them to score...i doubt our mettle..prove me wrong.

    That's been the story of our play for a few months now.

    We have less possession than we used to, create fewer chances, yet seem to convert them quite ruthlessly.

    This game has got plenty more to come <ok>

    .... i'll guess 2-2.

    yes, just like when our players dive and i say definite dive. rafael, rooney, nani, theyre all bad for it. im under no illusions that many of our team cheat, but booing the ref because you dont want the rules to be applied to you is just childish.
