So he was lying was he?

He and Sullivan have funded our transfers from their own wealth so as not to increase the financial pressure on the club. They have said they will continue to do so for the next three seasons.

Our debt is now under control but we were alarmingly close to administration before they came and saved us.

It looks like we probably will go up at the first attempt but its really no big deal if we don't.

No. Only 4 of todays starting 11 were here last season and Collison missed the whole of last season.

I wasnt questioning starting 11...have a look at your bench.

OOOOh i forgot Carew also, and Bentley from earlier in the season.

But, I'd be proud of our achievements if we were WHU.

Oh no, actually maybe i wouldnt.

By the way, do you go fishing?

The one thing that could screw over West Ham right now is P*mpey. If they go tits up and their results are removed from the record, you lose 5 points on us, and your away win today will all of a sudden mean jack ****.

It's not done and dusted, far from it. So don't be getting up on your high horses.

The Leeds v Southampton match was, by far, the more exciting game.

If that helps in any way, from an outsider looking in.

We played Cardiff when they were one of the form teams. As lucky as we were to come away with the 3 points yesterday, West Ham couldn't have wished to play Cardiff at a better time. Fair play to West Ham, you still have to go and put a performance in but it's no doubt easier when your opposition went though an emotional and physical rollercoaster last weekend. You also have to give credit to WH for winning game after game with 10 men, that takes some doing. Like others have said, West Ham can go and win the title now (just so long as they beat the rest of the top 6 in the process).

Well you create a provoking article which was intended, which in hindsight is very pathetic. <doh>

I don't like to waste me time chatting to little wums who think spend, spend and spend and hoofball is a good combination to 'playing' football. <whistle>

But we would lose one of remaining games. Lots of people seem to ignoring that fact.

Yes of course it's still not as bad as losing 6 points, because at best we can only take 4 points off of Pompey, but it's not simply a case of West Ham would be 5 points worse off compared to us, and that is it.

Nothing, at the moment. They lost 1-0 at Fratton Park, and play Pompey at home this Tuesday.

And, assuming Pompey stay afloat until we play them and, making another assumption, we beat them, we would lose 4 points.
