Seems Keegan and Pardew both reckon the ref had a good game...

Ben Arfa looked like he was Noocarsle's missing link... wonder why he doesn't play more minutes.

On another day we would have scored 5 in the second half , the football gods didn't want that to happen again though <laugh>

Slightly disappointed we didn't win but a draw always feels like a win when the equaliser comes so late in the game.

So why don't YOU go and continue to suck on your sour grapes whilst I sit back and sing 4 years and counting.

I'm disappointed right now, but a draw is a good result for us.

Strange how such a BIG team's fan that dont care too much for Sunderland and dont see them as equals will be songing about not being beat by them in 4 years......oh well!

Great game today, heart in my mouth sort of stuff!

We certainly bossed the first half and credit to Newcastle they began the second half like a house on fire.
I did think however it was playing into out counter attacking hands a little.
Biggest moment was where we should have scored the 2nd goal and then a minute later Sess was sent off.

Looking back a draw was a fair result and im just happy and proud of the players out there, this is still the same team that Bruce had and they look a world of difference, be interesting to see what both clubs do in the summer and im sure we will both have a lot of premiership battles in the years to come, this is what football is all about for me!

Well done the lads, i cant condem the players sent off as this game sends me crazy so i have no idea what playing in it must be like.
Sess and Catts will be missed for FA cup though, big big loss!

As you're quite clearly an idiot there's just no hope for you.
Sad little ****er craaaaaing about scraping a draw against 10 men.
I wonder if Tiote has stopped crying yet?
It does seem to take longer for little girls to stop crying though. <ok>

On balance a draw is a fair result in my view. The Sess sending off was the critical part of the game, if he had not got sent off I think we would have won, we looked to have another goal in us.

I thought Ben Arfa was excellent when he came on and if he had started it could have been a different game.

As BOTH managers, commentators and pundits have said I thought the ref had an excellent game. It was a very tough game to ref and on balance I don't think either side could complain. There were individual decisions some may not agree with but I think over the whole game he was fair to both sides.

Keegan is a bit of a knob though as he was blaming Richardson for the mag goal even though he was not on the pitch.

The ref did get the vast majority of decision right. I just thought the card on Cabaye was too harsh. And that triggered a whole lot of more cards. Apart from that..I really don't know what Catts had to complain about? The penalty? The red card? arguably nufc could have had 2 more for the shove and handball. So I don't get it. I think Pards didn't behave very well on the touchline. Over the top antics. We played the occasion rather than the match and I think Catts first tackle totally upset us and ruined most of the match for us. We were playing about and not playing football at all for a good 40 minutes after it. Also SHola should have taken the penalty, he's our best penalty taker. Don't know why Cissé was playing, he didn't look right.
