Should we move to take him onto our staff? He gets to rebuild his reputation in England, can be groomed as Kenny's successor, and gets straight back into work without having to take a step down to be full-time manager of a small club. I'm aware of some of his mistakes this season, primarily being inexperience and expecting the older players to just do as they're told and accept his vision. But i still think there are good elements to him as a Manager and i think under Kenny's wing he could shake off this Mourinho inferiority complex. Just a left-field suggestion to change things up
Interesting thought. Like many Chelsea though i'm not overly confident in his ability. If Jose returned to Chelsea and AVB came to us - we'd be mincemeat.
But if we had him in more of an assistant role, and we could combine some of Kenny and Clarke's strengths with what he's learned from Jose- plus the fact he has his best years ahead of him-then could be a good prospect!
Don't reckon he would ever take a number 2 role now he's been a manager at a Prem club. Think that would undermine anway.
Yeah your probs right, was thinking along Queiroz lines. Unlikely but doesn't mean it wouldn't be a good idea!
