Bedford Like I've said above most fans do not like losing to Stoke. BUT IF we're so **** in your'e oppinion? HOW come we OUTPLAYED Chelsea at our place, we should have beaten them and that was'nt **** ASK the Chelsea, UTD we more than held our own. YOU lost to them last week? WHY because you we're not good enough. ALL have TRIED and FAILED to beat us apart from Utd at our place. You are having a good season, be happy with that and stop digging a hole before you bury yourself. I don't like Pulis's tactics sometimes but today. And of course, Norwich are perfect I suppose? As for Tony Pulis, He had it bang on the mark simple's. YOU came for a pt and got beaten. And?......

I thought the game was really boring but I wouldn't blame Stoke's football for that - because both of us were playing ****e football. In fact, Stoke weren't actually doing much hoofing whilst we were doing it all the time when we weren't busy attempting layoff passes to a guy 2 yards away but still getting them intercepted. Stoke were much better then us today, but they didn't really create many clear chances and we defended well, and had that throw-in been given to us a draw wouldn't have been inconceivable. The way Stoke played also made us look even worse then were with their pressure in midfield and superior strength/jumping winning most 50/50s. Outside of setpieces we made literally no chances, so rather then bemoan the throw that never was (Or rather never was a Stoke throw) Lambert should probably be thinking about why it is we sometimes (Sunderland too) play like this.
Generally we adapt to meet the challenges posed by other teams and this time it nearly worked at least in terms of getting a point. Seeing holt defending and leaving a tiny fella up front at their set pieces made some defensive sense but just meant the ball always came back, without the chance to attack stoke. I just wonder what would have happened if we played our own game, last 15 minutes when fox came on we looked much better.
To be honest the only reason you looked better in the last 15 minutes is because we sat back like wr always do.
Bang on with that comment.. never understand why some rival fans complain so much? Nor why we just sit back and invite teams too attack us once we have taken a lead.. Until then Norwich did nothing of note. It was NEVER a throw in to us but, YOU still have to defend it and Norwich did not. Having just seen the Newcastle v Sunderland game. IF Norwich fans think we Stoke we're bad. That game just proved there are far worse teams than either us or Norwich City.. Sunderland did nothing apart from that penalty even before going down a man.. awful game but the result suits Stoke and we move onwards.
