Bloody hell..... i always use to sign him for like 1.5k... Do you wait until like the last couple of days at transfer deadline day or something? The days are flying past me in unemployed... stil without a job after a month and peterhead of 3rd division rejected me ha ha!
Well I signed him outside of the transfer window as you can with free players. I think I got him on trial first as well. That makes him more eager to sign up.
Stick it on holiday mode, have the settings to apply for all jobs, go on holiday indefinitely and return when offered a job.

They used to be good till Gillingham come and took some of their good players, Adam Birchall and Ross Flitney were there last season and they were good, Birchall got 46 goals last season and Flitney was in goal who is now our number 1 keeper who has lost his place in the Gillingham team and is now injured, They also had Matt Fish who was ok for them, now at Gillingham but is a load of ****.

The last time I played a football manager game was about 5 years ago I think this was when there was numerous choices out there Football Manager, Championship Manager etc. I see that Football Manager is now the game to get and seems most popular. Couple of things...... Will I find this game a total mindf**k? It seems over complicated on the reviews I had read from people.

Happened in the NHL; one brother leveled another playing on different teams, and left him with a severe concussion...he missed several months from what I remember. Cortese finally gave me a larger stadium, though not when I asked for it...he turned me down for probably the tenth time immediately after winning the Prem, and then he announced plans the next day to add 16,000 seats. Then he inexplicably handed me a 17m loan at a time when I had no need of one. Fictional Cortese is even more tempestuous than real Cortese.
