Morning all. Chucking it down here...a shame because it's Mrs H's grandson's christening this afternoon. Tricky enough getting a two tier cake there (40 miles or so) in fine weather.. Strange game yesterday and I still don't know how we managed to win it. We looked set up to defend and desperately short of width and ideas for an hour or so. Buaben has some good qualities but he's not a natural wide player. Mariappa looked more uncertain than I've ever seen him and, having missed the last two games, I'm puzzled as to why we replaced Loach with Kusczak. He doesn't look any better at coming for crosses. Still, we kept going and the ball fell kindly for us a couple of times. I imagine Burnley will be wondering how they managed to lose that one.
