Collins' buttocks did indeed make it 1-0 (former keeper Steve Phillips had a nightmare his his kicking all day) but frustrating that we couldn't really deliver when it mattered. Sawyers looked good when he came on and flashed a shot just wide. One of the few players not to give it away.
I wasnt at the game but in the grand scheme of things a draw away to a team pushing for the playoffs is not a terrible result. Much more important is to maintain our winning run at home against a tough Oxford side (even without Constable). If we can maintain our excellent home record with eight home games left that in itself will take us very close. Cheltenham are faltering at home and we have a game in hand against Southend (who I predict will lose at at home against Crawley tomorrow). I still think Swindon will be champions but we have a good a chance a chance of any to finish runners-up.
I did indeed, not gonna harp on about it but should've got the win. However I agree with above- tuesday is far more important.
Guess we were overdue a draw or two, last one was a couple of months ago and they do say win your home games avoid defeat away. Need a win tommorow and saturday really thou. Not sure if town can win all the home matches (if they did I recon it will be enough) so proberly need a couple more away wins just to be sure.
