Once again I think you're overestimating how much of a part pure spending plays. Once again look at Spurs, only a few years ago they were mid-table and it was supposedly impossible to break the monopoly of the top 4. Newcastle now have the chance to break in aswell and this is only their second year back up. And of course "potential" accounts for significant investment, I'm clearly not saying we could do it with Bates at the helm. No I didn't, learn to read and stop acting like a stroppy child. You could never challenge for the title, you don't have the fanbase to sustain it, especially with UEFA fair play rules coming in.
So you're saying that potentially, with a new owner who will sort your club out you will be challenging? WELL DONE. But fact is, for the forseeable future Bates is your owner. You don't have the facilities of Spurs or Newcastle. You just couldn't do it. However, if you did get a wealthy owner willing to dip into his pocket then you may be able to get top half PL finishes. But the PL is a different ball game since you last competed in it. Open your eyes and realise that you've done **** all for nearly a decade now. Where have I said Leicester could? ****ing hell, learn to read. Currently Leicester have better potential that Leeds purely because of infrastructure. Our stadium, training facilities, owners, wealth, fan base and staff are better than a lot of PL teams. Deny it all you like, it's just fact. Think what you like, Asia Football Investment and King Power are the ones who are paying what debt we have. Be as jealous as you like, it's fact. It's really not hard to understand, is it?
Do you actually understand what "potential" means? Your infrastructure is better than ours? How? Is it your smaller stadium or your inferior academy? The PL isn't a different ballgame, and we do have the facilities of Spurs and Newcastle. And it is your debt, if your owners leave you're ****ed, and don't say they're "in it for the long haul", who wouldn't say that?
I live in northampton At the local park today 2 lads (not related) had Leicester shirts on but no-one with leeds shirts Directly accross road is a season ticket holder at Leicester Grew up around Market Harborough and the was a good following for Leicester (but can only ever remember 1 leeds fan) Northampton is a rugby town with Leicester it 50/50 or even 60/40 in favour of football
Our PL standard stadium ready to be increased to 45k, our grade 1 academy, our superb training facilities that are better than most PL clubs... You're right, why wouldn't they say that. But why would they spend near 10 million on improving the club's infrastructure?
Robbie Savage on 5 Live today "Teams like Leicester are happy to win the League Cupo because they know their level, they're never going to win anything big"! Well said that man. No your limits you **** moderator!
because Robbie Savage is the most liked man in Leicester, isn't he! Notice how he only ever won anything at Leicester though
but what was it you **** wit? Something you've never won and according to Robbie Savage (who knows the club) never will!
Everybody knows sav is a thick cu*t He knows f*c* all about F**K all, they only have him on the telly and radio because he says the first thing that comes into the radish he has for a brain.
Leeds are now a yo-yo club, who will be up and down between the Championship and league 1. You must be so proud to support such a massive club with so much potential. It's a shame your talented young players don't share your views. Taxi for Howson anyone? ...and its 'know' not 'no'.
