Top four for is very important for us. It might help keep Van Persie and the rebuilding process will only be helped by having CL football. In 2014, we can get new sponsorship deals so its important that we stay in the top 4. The money it brings in terms of TV and other extra income is massive for a club like Arsenal. With the CL money and the new sponsorship deals coming in we will be in great shape when FFP is brought in.

You played Dortmund, Olympiakos and Marseille in the groups, hardly screams prestige. First time you faced a top team you got well and truly violated. We have good days, and bad days in Europe, some very bad results (Milan 4-0, Bayern Munich 3-1) and good days (Madrid 1-0, Milan 2-0, Inter 5-1, Barca 2-1) and to just play in this top competition is something good. As for you making progress, no, I don't see Pool making any progress, for the 3rd year running you will end up outside the top 4, LOL, how's that making progress? This was the season you were supposed to finally break in with all the major signings, so in fact I would say you REGRESSED because you have made major signings and spent huge money and are still no better off and that is very bad, at least when you were sh!t for the past 2 seasons it was because you weren't buying so many players and spending huge money on many players, but now you did, and you still are outside the top 4. And as bad as we are, we are still above you, and are on course of ending above you for the 4th season out of the last 5, so again, you are the last team to come opening your mouth to Arsenal like as if you are better than us or have been doing better than us in the past few years. And yes, we made progress in 2008, 2010, and 2011, sadly we never built on it, we didn't build on the progress of 2011 and regressed this season, but it hasn't been regression all the time.
