Bit disingenuous mate...when you were 17th spurs were bottom of the prem...so you havent closed the gap on spurs since then...but your form does show how stupid it was to write you off as no hopers for a top 3 or 4 finish.
From our point of view Piskie- it does seem you go out of your way to bitch about Jay - yet you condemn others for it.
We've been closer to Spurs this season, I remember the gap being only three points before we started dropping points in early January. Time to overtake them and leave them behind hopefully.
Well if you conducted yourself in a manner suitable for the post then others and I would have nothing to say. But the fact of the matter is that you are no different to a serial offender when it comes to looking for trouble on the forum then hold yourself up as being a saint. It's disgraceful.
I'm simply pointing out where someone said we'd end up in mid table and now we're 4 pts from 3rd. This has got nothing to do with looking for trouble. Maybe some of the more over sensitive types on here should get over themselves
PISKIE, can you please stop bringing Jayram up? As much as I respect you theis constant Obssession with Jayram is starting to get annyoing
That's sadly and absolutely true. I was thinking yesterday that had we landed results from some of the games we were expected to win this season, we would be mixing it with the two Manchester clubs. Those draws against Newcastle, Bolton and Wolves, the loss to Fulham and Swansea away and Utd at home amongst others. However to consider that we would have to reverse the results of at least six matches is a big ask and more a measure of how badly our season has gone. To add to the poor form of our rivals as you said, I would have to say our season has also been shored up by the likes of RvP. Indeed especially RvP because if not for him we may well still be in mid-table. While we are 4th at the moment, our EPL season still has another 11 matches to go. It's the same for the others too and I just hope they don't gear up better than us. to both the season and the start of this calendar year. Just a further 9 points from January and two from the draw with Bolton would have made a huge difference. This summer the club has to make it's intentions very clear or it will be goodbye to RvP.
Worst start in 58 years We have not played convincingly and we have a long long long way to go before we can consider ourselves challengers again. We have had immense luck too in some games but, I couldn't care less how we win as long as we win and pick up points. This season is a write off but at least it can be a platform to build on for next season.
