Fair points Ammaar. All Liverpool fans know that the home form isn't good enough. And it has cost us a top 4 place in my opinion. We've done this sort of thing too often and 'these sort of games' are happening too often! We know what the problem is and we need to sort it out in the summer. If we can, the home record should be a lot better next season! On Suarez, he's the type of player that opposition fans hate but fans of the club that he plays for love him! If we had an Hernandez etc. we would have a cracking strike force. I do wonder what him and Torres could have done together. Suarez doing the creating and Torres finishing them off. Could have been lethal! We'll never know though...
Arsenal were poor today but won - that is all that counts. How many times have Arsenal outplayed an opponent only to lose? We have been guilty of missed chances, lapses in concentration, and defensive errors time and again. When this happens and we lose, it is completely down to Arsenal, and any Arsenal fan who complains about luck, or dribbles on about how we had all the possession is completely missing the issues. Well the opposite happened today - Liverpool were **** when it mattered and lost. Arsenal were clinical when it mattered and won. Our goalkeeper also gave a world class display. For the Liverpool fans bleating on: 1) The game earlier in the season was against a very weak Arsenal team and you played against 10 men for a large part of the match. Over the PL years Liverpool are one team that we have consistently outplayed. 2) Saurez did dive and is a cheat.
Apology accepted. We discussed this point to death amongst ourselves and come to the conclusion that if all our shots that have hit the crossbar and post would've gone in we'd be in 2nd or 3rd,and we obviously need a tried,trusted and established goalscorer. Thanks for your concern.
Just like the Arsenal cheats that went down feigning injury to get the game stopped while we were on the attack.
Problem is, even with a tried and trusted goal scorer you'd still struggle to get top 4. The issue lies with the fact that you shelled out a fortune on player who will NEVER get top 4. When you pay £20m for a player like Henderson you have a serious problem with scouting. Liverpool are in much worse shape than Arsenal, who have been declining for a few years, but at least we havent spent £20m on a player barely good enough for the PL.
We didn't pay £20M for Jordan Henderson... It was £16M which could rise to £20M. If those clauses are met, it would suggest that he would be doing well. The lad has got plenty of time to improve.
They haven't won ANYTHING in the last few years. 4th isn't assured for them. Even with our problems it is still possible to gain that spot. We HAVE won one trophy. We ARE in the Quarter Finals of the FA Cup. They HAVEN'T and AREN'T

But we have maintained our top 4 position, you on the other hand, have clearly not, and for the 3rd year running, you are going to be out of the top 4 and the champions league. Having said, you haven't won the league or champions league neither, in fact it's been 2 decades since you won the league so sounds stup!d from a liverpool fan telling another team they haven't won the league in some years.

Am i the only gooner on here who isn't a smug bastard when we win? I hate Liverpool, i've made it clear numerous times, but we got lucky today. Poor finishing by them, excellent finishing by RvP was the difference. As for Liverpool's summer signings, they're largely dreadful. Adam isn't a top 10 player, forget top4, Henderson is a waste of 16 million, should have left him develop at Sunderland before buying him, and the less said about Downing the better.
