... Did anyone else notice how hard he worked at not giving away off-sides? If he was off-side, he tried not to go for the ball, and made every effort to avoid the trap. Previous matches, he has infuriated with the number of off-sides he gave away, and I applaud how he is working on that aspect of his game.
Yeah he deffo seems more aware of his positioning but its just a pity Dirk doesn't do the same because he ruins a lot of attacks for being offside at crucial moments.
Suarez was brilliant in the first half but just stated to drift off in the second, however he always ran and closed down players.
I know where your coming from with Kuyt but, to be fair, most of his offsides are close calls. He is just trying to get that extra half a yard to make up for his lack of pace. Still frustrating though and I think it was getting to Kuyt in the end too.
I was reading a stat on the bbc match day thing that says you score more and win more with out Suarez in the team. Is that true and why would it be?
You can prove or disprove anything you want with statistics. Sometimes you have to rely upon truisms instead. So here's one for you: In every thread on our board you will always get one visiting dickhead - so far you're it!
Probably as he didn't play in a few cup games where we scored a lot of goals, and in fact didn't play in most of our cup games at all (we obviously won all of these).
