Norwich were probably the worst team to come to the Brit this season. Both new sides Swansea and QPR played Stoke off the pitch but you were truly awful. For the size Holt is he is a real pansy and went down everytime anybody got near him. Ruddy is certainly odds on to be an England keeper as his first half save was superb. Great fans and really loud but sadly your side were dire not Stoke. You pushed, shoved and pulled all through the game so please don't say Stoke are a rugby side. You were out muscled today by a more motivated and hungry side and looked like rabbits caught in car headlights. I actually thought you were going to turn us over today and couldn't believe when i was watching you as to how you managed to get so high in the table you were truly ****e! Now, I know you're not a fool, and I know you have to profess to like your style of play, however, you have to admit, virtually every fan of every other team has the same opinion about Stoke's style of play which is overwhelming evidence that it is bully-boy hoof-ball! Regarding our position in the table, common-sense should tell you that we usually play much better than that or we wouldn't be where we are! He'd obviously been taking lessons from a certain Peter Crouch today He got abuse for a) being ex-Ipswich and b) for the dive at our place earlier in the season that got Barnett sent off, but mainly for being ex-Ipswich
This ^ I ^ agree ^ with ^ totally. Howson, maybe a 20 minute cameo at the end, but why start with him? As soon as Fox came on there was a degree of movement off the ball and people getting into positions to receive a pass. I know Stoke play their ****e style to stifle other teams but today was dire from a Norwich perspective. And no obvious 'plan b' - like Leicester in the cup a few weeks back. Paul Lambert in his post match interview with the BBC regarding the throw in leading to the Stoke goal: "The referee is walking away as if he has given it to us, and he actually raises his hand a little bit as if it is a Norwich throw, and then the linesman has overruled him for some reason." "The ref did admit it to me in the tunnel that he was going to give it to us, but the linesman has overruled him." Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it the referee who is in charge of the game and has the final decision and not the linesman?
I commented that Crouch had gone down more times than allied shipping during the war so the Holt comment is nonsense! I can't believe your fans and some of your players were getting shirty when we started dishing it back. Walters got abuse for Ipswich not anything against his Stoke connection. Your style is none of our business and it got you into Europe but its not our way. You won and that's all that matters I guess. You don't have the right to judge us on that performance either though.

Well, if that's what nearly 28,000 fans call "entertainment" at the Britannia stadium every other week, I'd rather have a season ticket to the Swiss Dignitas clinic I saw most of Leeds v Southampton afterwards - how refreshing to see a "proper" game of football. There is no comparison with Crouch and Holt as Holt is a thick set rugged striker where as crouch is like a flamingo so naturally Crouch will go down easier. Holt needs to man up in my opinion and take a leaf out of super Jonny walters book and ride those tackles not be lying on the floor every 5 minutes to then make a miraculous recovery. Plus our style of play and so called bully boy tactics blah blah blah we hear it every week. the problem is that yes Stoke do play to a style that does not suit every team and the fact of the matter is this no one likes to get beat by us hence that's when the whinging starts. Funny how the ref cost you the game in both matches. Wise up boys!! Good luck for the rest of the season anyway and just accept that today we were better than you just like you were better than us at your place!
