Hello and welcome to the all new and improved Match day Hub which is now the official place for Gillingham fans, I decided to update this so that you will know where to go and chat before and during the game.
This is here to replace the match day thread and the Starting Line up Prediction, this is where you will now be able to post all your team predictions and score updates. You can now just spend your match day in one place if you are not at the game.

This is the thread for the upcoming game, I always post this thread before each game so that you can express your views on the corresponding fixture and can talk between each other during the game,
You can post your team predictions before the game, you may include the starting 11 plus the subs which you think will be in the team, no points awarded for your predictions it is just for fun, it allows you to start a healthy debate between each other about the team which we will play or what it should be.
If you wish you can post updates freely about the game and chat between yourselves, you are also free to talk about other games bizarre or not.
This is open to both Gillingham fans and also the opposition
After the match I will allow you all to create a summary on this thread and I will also provide extra details on the game if they are required or if I want to point anything out. You can talk about what was good about the game and what could have been better. During the game I will update the score and the team sheets as soon as they are available, also at the end I will add the table to this thread as it stands.

This is here permanently so you will not see the Match day thread or the starting line up prediction threads as this is them combined.

I think the team will be like this
    Right to left set out
    -------------Gazzaniga-----------------

    Evans-----Essam-----King-------Jackman

    Whelpdale-------Payne-----------C.Lee

    Tomlin----------Kedwell----------Kufour

    Subs

    Hawkes
    Davies
    Weston
    O.Lee
    Obita

I hear that Weston could be out injured so if that is true I would add Miller to the bench or Spiller if he is available, if I choose the team I would put Obita straight into the team, Swap to 4-4-2 and play Obita in the team instead of Kuffour.
If King is not able to play I would give Davies a go, even though it would mean 3 out of the back 4 would be under 20 I would take the risk I think he is good.

What's the problem with Simon King? Interesting to see how Callum Davies, another ex-youth team player, will get on.

Not sure what the problem is with King. I am understanding that he was not happy to come off?

Absolutely gutted for Tomlin, just what we do not need, even IF we come away with the 3 points.

Great result today and up to 8th as Accrington equalised in the 88th minute against Port Vale.

Costly result in injury and the sending off but job done and a vital 3 points.

Such a shame to get 2 injuries, with it being king and Tomlin aswell that becomes even more annoying but with such a depleted side a 1-0 win makes me happy, a clean sheet with 10 men is good and also to see Martin get a goal is good, but a third red card, not so positive, but 3 wins in a row and also a 4-4-2 formation surprising

That is annoying, Hess said that Tomlin has pulled a hamstring, and with so many games this is really bad, Kuffour has a knee injury, kedwell injured in training aswell as Payne and also Weston.
Evans is also injured, what will we do, we may only have Miller for Tuesday, don't want to have to get another one in on loan or have to see Oli upfront if he is near back.

Something weird happening here at Lincoln though Look at this LOL>

Honestly when I first saw the team sheet I thought WTF.

Martin then scores a goal, which you can only congratulate. However, I thought we was playing a 442, so the first question that went through my mind and an issue I have had with him is why was he that far forward? Clearly I am no tactician but then realised it was a 35yd screamer (I think).

Sadly as I am about to eat my words, thirty minutes in, another red card. So despite the opening running the team are now forced on the back foot.

The best way I can answer the question is if it was my team selection, I would be looking for another more disciplined left back.

If I have one other more important concern about today, it is Tomlin's injury without a doubt - I am seriously worried. I understand that Hessy had his head in his hands when it happened, if he did I know how he felt.
