Do my eyes deceive me..? Warnock has said nice things about Saints..! Best side. Well run club. Measuring his side against ours to see if his players are there or thereabouts, or if he needs real work to do. Likes Nigel, Says he's one of the nice guys and is pleased for him. This is Neil Warnock we're talking about here. The one with all the vitriol:

Apologies if already posted, but I'm not wading through 13 pages of posts.

A draw but Liam Lawrence gets sent off on debut in a punch up with Nolan who is also sent off on his return from suspension!

Why isn't Snodgrass on the shortlist for player of the year? He obviously hasn't impressed many people.

Leeds fans seem to massively over hype their players (1st game of the season build up was hilarious, never seen such a futile attacking force that was meant to be something incredible)

I feel confident today, so much so, that if Leeds don't get at least a draw today, I will run down Southampton High Street NAKED.... <yikes> <yikes> <yikes>

The pressure is really on Southampton to win this one.

You will only be a point above us having played 2 games more should you lose.

Warnocks first home game, noisy elland road crowd - I fancy Leeds to do the business for us tonight.

    COME ON YOU IRONS

    and come on dirty leeds.

Gradel Howson and Snodgrass were a force to be reckoned with, which we saw on countless occasions last season. It's just unfortunate that there was so much unrest and lack of belief due to a poor transfer window that none of the players were at their best. Just didn't show up.

Ha ha! I have no problem with Leeds mate. We are dirtier than you this season with our three reds in a row recently!

I really think Leeds will be too much for Southampton tonight.

I wouldn't call being 1 point behind with a game in hand desperate would you?

I may be wrong, but isn't taking an interest in the results of your nearest rivals quite normal?

I do think leeds will win tonight and I do think that if they do, we will be in a very strong position going into our game with cardiff tomorrow.

I'd be quite happy with a West Ham win! A draw would be perfect but so long as you beat the rest of the promotion hopefuls on the way to winning the Championship thats fine with me  (So long as Saints get second of course).

No, Marko, according to these Southampton fans there's no such thing as one bad game, if you play badly against Southampton, you're a bad player full stop.

Wouldn't judge anyone on one game, but, let's face it, that's probably the only time I'll see them in a season. I'm just astonished by how often teams have a bad day playing us. I've lost count of the time that the opposition fans say: not impressed with Southampton, they caught us on a bad day. We are so lucky to be accidently at the top.

They very well may have just had an off game against us earlier in the season. But everytime Saints win a game all we ever hear from the opposition is 'we didn't turn up, that's the worst we have played' etc etc. If that is always the case then we must be the luckiest team in the world and have somehow maintained our top 2 position based on opposition not performing. I do however rate Snodgrass highly, but IMO Lallana is a better player and at this moment the Championship managers agree.

I have no idea. If I knew who judged it, their methodology and criteria, I might be better placed to tell you.

All fans overhype their players, it's part of being a football supporter. You defend your team. On that first day, the emerging Clayton, Snodgrass, our Player of the Season Gradel and captain Howson looked exciting as ****. Now it's been dismantled and Clayton has turned average. But for this division, that was a pretty incredible-looking attack (especially if Becchio had been fit to spearhead it).

Fair enough then, I bow to their decision. But to say Snodgrass hasn't impressed many people just because he didn't make the top three is completely stupid. People forget that this is one of the best divisions in world football.
