You've said that when you get promoted you'll be challenging within a few years.

Everyone has potential to challenge for the title, that's a statement that means absolutely nothing so i'll leave you to wonder why I put it there.

I take it you are unable to answer my questions earlier then? I didn't think you would be able to give decent answers..

    Alright dear, clam down.

    1) of course, which is why I have an opinion on whether or not Leeds have it.
    2) Yes I have. Perhaps 'falling apart' is a bit harsh. 'Extremely outdated' should be more suited. See the KP for a stadium that's been freshened up.
    3) Aside from the fan base you have **** all. No academy, no chairman willing to push for promotion, no decent players (Snodgrass aside) and no fans who turn up to home games. It's quite plain to see, Leeds won't be going anywhere for years.
    4) Oh yes, because seeing Leicester fans in Northampton is the perfect way of telling whether or not Leicester have a big fan base <laugh> For the record i've never seen a Leeds fan in Leicester <ok>

The sad thing is people like you ACKJ are all over the place when things are looking good then when it goes tits up or you are proven wrong (like you will be) then you will be nowhere to be seen.

Potential - Let us see where Leeds are in 2, 4, 5, 10 years time and compare that to where Leicester are, if you cannot see Leicester do not have any potential to ever be more than an average team flirting in and out of the premier league then well, wprds fail me.

The chairman will not be around forever, when he goes we shall have no debts and things will move forward at great pace. no decent players yet we are ahead of Leicester, work that one out and at the end of the day one chairman with a bit of cash and a couple of signings later it all looks different.

Chairmen can come and go as can players, you are so under estimating the size of a fan base it is comical...

So Elland Road holds more then the King Power Stadium.

Sunderlands ground holds more then Anfield. Is Sunderland a bigger club with more potential then Liverpool.

Darlingtons ground is bigger then alot of championship sides are then bigger then Blackpool, Crystal Palace, Burnley etc

Our potential is the be a top 10 premier league side again

Leeds potential is a top 6 prem club challenging for top 4. If you think Leeds are as big a club as Man U, Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham then im afraid you need to wake up and smell the coffee

    Nope.

    Ask the Hull fans <ok>

Also, what the **** are you on about? Where have I said that Leicester have more potential? Personally I think we do, but I'm talking about a Leeds fan saying they have a genuine chance of being in the race for the title in a few years. Which is ****ing ludicrous.

****ing hell, stick to the argument.

Also, where have I said anything against Leeds' fanbase?

You're a typical Leeds moron who thinks they 'belong' in the Premier League because they have a few fans and a semi-big stadium.

What POTENTIAL does that bring? **** all.

I can't be bothered to argue the toss with you any longer, I could pick your last reply to me to pieces but I won't bother. If you care to read through my previous comments in this thread I have admitted as to where I see Leeds see my post #303 - In case you are not capable of doing that:

and putting this into context I see those three as chasing and always will be chasing Scum, Chelsea and City.

Now on another note AKCJ - how many cocks or who's cock did you have to suck in order to become a moderator? Maybe it was a case of bend over and offer your arse to become one? - Quite honestly you are as thick as they come when it is football matters, how the **** you are a mod is beyond belief. You made a token effort for a while but your true colours and pathetic turning a post to insults when you don't get your own way soon shone through once again.

Reply to this if you like but I have nothing more to say to you, I ignored Clivetime because of his ignorance and blindness you are now in that same group

Like I said to the other mod who sadly lacks any football brain or ability to debate issues, please see my post #303 I don't see Leeds challenging top 6 in the next 10 years, I would love to be proved wrong by any fellow supporter and I hope I am.

In regards to the size of the ground, this was just a point I was bringing up in regards to that ****** of a mod AKCJ who under estimates the size of a fan base, who feels Elland Road is falling down and that because we haven't any expensive high valued players we have no potential.

Tell me Proud_Fox do you get embarrassed at the crap you see AKCJ write?

I did not realise, truly a sad situation, we can only prey that Bates leaves sooner rather than later..

    Ignorance and blindness?

    ****ing hell you arrogant twat.

How am I being ignorant in not believing that Leeds will be challenging for the PL in a few years? It's clearly not going to happen. You're not guaranteed it because you're the 'mighty Leeds United'.

Get a grip, for Christ's sake.

You go tell yourself you're guaranteed a Premier league place<ok> Fact is you don't until you earn it, and you havn't earnt it for almost a decade.

The big difference - When bates gets bored and pisses off we shall still have a club, we shall be ready to push forward and start challenging again... If your owners get bored it is the end of Leicester City FC for a long time, we have been there and done that and finally we are coming out the other end, will Leicester be capable of doing the same?

    Please, get a ****ing grip.

Potential doesn't have anything to do with how many fans you've got or how many seats your stadium has.

It's about your club's infrastructure (which is ****ed), your academy (which is ****) and the owners wallet (which is tighter than a ducks arse).

Get Bates out. Get a decent board willing to pump money into the club's training facilities, the playing staff and then start buying talent rather than players who have had trials rejected from League 1 teams.

Get that sorted and you'll have it in place. But how can you expect to get result on the pitch by having a good fan base and a half decent stadium? Please, open your eyes.

You don't get it, do you.

Our owners are here to stay. They're not leaving and any debt that's being racked up is against Asia Football Investments, not Leicester city Football Club.

Things change in football quickly. Big teams of yesteryear become medium size clubs of today. I admire Arsenals approach in clearing their debts (buying their stadium) before spending mega millions on players. I dont admire the way that they sign any French originated player or any English teenager making a name for themselves.

I dont admire the way that we have spent money on players and facilities which, if the rug is pulled from under our feet, would cripple us.

I dont admire the way that Leeds sell their best players for next to nothing.

I do admire the way that Norwich and Swansea have appointed ambitious young(ish) mangers who have brought players into their team, who fit into a team and squad ethic.

Having said all of that, the only team that I see challenging for one of the top 6 places in the Prem over the next 5-10 years, thaat aren't at the moment, are Sunderland. Simply because of the man/team management of M O'N.

Nigel Pearson is a team building man. He is the right guy to manage us and build us for the future. Would he spend millions if we somehow managed to get through the playoffs this season (unlikely I know). Probably he would - not in the realms of the top boys of the Prem, but certainly more than we have ever spent previously. The difference would be that he would bring in better TEAM players.

I have read a lot on here, where people talk sense about other clubs, and then complete bollocks about their own.

If we look at teams that have been promoted from the Championship over recent seasons, they have been teams with the TEAM ethic with few stand out stars.

Before we look at how we can do in the Prem, we need to look at how we get out of the Championship. Swansea and Norwich are proving that team ethic can work in the Prem, providing quality team players can be added for the Prem season.

At Leicester we have a good infrastructure thanks to previous and current owners. Previously, we had an owner who wanted star players. Early this season, we had a manager who wanted star players. Our owners now can see that to get a return on their money, that needed to change. Thank God, it has.

Ask the Portsmouth fans who is responsible for the debt their wealthy benefactors built up?
