if they can break in they can break out time for some lead lining me thinks. i lived in a flat with a basement a few years ago where you could go exploring along under the tennement, used to think it was hilarious whilst pissed to go a couple of houses down and scratch on the floorboards about that flat was also haunted which was fun

Certainly has potential to be a good time saver - no digging required, bit of a conversion and away you go - not too sure how much soundproofing would be needed though? I mean the walls run a bit close to the normal house

no, i'm definately against soundproofing the dungeon of my country home. it helps keep the staff in check.
