Drew with Bolton and then beat Blackburn 7-1, Sunderland and then came back to beat Spurs 5-2. This is the Premier League award though so they don't factor in the F.A defeat to Sunderland and that hammering in Milan...
It's even more baffling when I look at some of the other managers and their record in February... Roberto Mancini: Played 3 Premier League games in February. Won 3. Scored 7. Conceded 0. Why didn't Mancini get it?!
clearly if you thrash spurs over the course of 60mins... seeing harry is the worlds greatest ever manager.... well you must deserve the award they should rename this award lucky manager of the month seeing RVP is still fit.
The PL seem very keen to distribute the award, taking account of circumstances and giving it to managers who do well in adversity. So Redknapp got it in September cos Spurs got ****ed so badly in August, O''Neill got it in December after turning Sunderland's season around, and Rogers got it in Jan for going from four games without a win to two games in a row. If it was purely based on results then Mancini, SAF and Redknapp would have been the only winners thus far!
i presume the question is why didn't kenny get it for winning a cup??? well we were not great for feb tbh....
Well you lost to Bolton, drew with Spurs while we won away at a very difficult Sunderland side, and hammered both Spurs and Blackburn. I think they do try to distribute the award evenly though.
