    He's Ipswich's black hole, fortunately.

When you do find him you might need a little help throwing him in though.

Or maybe he has already fell in?

I doubt it, one slight prod in the ribs and he normally goes down.

Can't wait to see your clubs figures! Last I heard it was £40+ loss?! Isn't that the reason you wanted Pearson in the first place......joke

I hope not, if he has then we won't be getting anything else in there with him plugging the gap, the great big lump that he is.

You know your transfer spending last summer isn't entirely included in those losses though? When you sign a player on a permanent transfer they become a fixed asset. The transfer fee, agents fees, signing on fees etc, even if they're paid out in full at the time of the deal are spread out over the length of the player's contract.

If you're saying £10M was spent on players last summer (I know that's just transfer fees but work with me), it was spent in July, and they signed 3 year contracts then the contract will run over 4 accounting periods (as July 31st is the year end) so only £2.5M of it would be in the losses for last year. The other £7.5M is sitting as assets to be written down in the next 3 sets of accounts. Obviously anyone who signed in August hasn't had any of it acccounted for yet as they weren't with you before the end of the accounts.

Ours were £22M. Not seen the official confirmation yet.

Not sure what to expect next year. We've had £2M of Bullard's transfer fee to write down this season compared to the £1M that was expected, and we've got a provision in for losing our legal case with him (has to be provided for even if we think we'll win) so we could do with that resolving one way or another, but on the flip side we'll have saved ourself about the same amount in wages.

This is nothing unusual, Top came in knowing he´d be spending before earning. It´s abit like buying a car or house & spending momey on doing it up.

Training ground is 1st class, stadium is more than good enough for the prem & minus some of the dead wood which I hope will move on in the summer, we have a squad that´s getting there, although there is still work to be done, but with money & NP as manager...

3 pts again today Leicester, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease.
