Following my trip to Manchester on Tuesday, I've decided there's too much chance I won't make it due to junior being at school and us not being able to set off until 4.30, so I'm off to watch it in the pub with my veterans team instead.
http://www.blackpoolgazette.co.uk/s...-fc/striking-duo-to-miss-hull-clash-1-4305908 No Matt Philips or Gary Taylor-Fletcher tonight (Philips international pull out wasn't a ploy then), still gonna be a hard game but feel a bit more confident.
Bench is Gulacsi, Brady, Dudgeon, Evans and Cairney(King dropped), though there's a chance that Dudgeon might now start, in which case Dawson will be on the bench.
They'll react with complete indifference to anything that happens. If they even show it, I'm having a 'mare trying to find a pub in Leeds city centre that keeps Sky Sports on on a Friday night. No striker? Genius.
I'm beginning to think Simpson killed Barmby's dog or something. Why would Barmby rather have no strikers on the bench than give him a chance? I don't really think there's any point in having two CMs on the bench either, unless he's planning on grabbing a 1-0 lead and defending it?
Only place I've been in Leeds on a Friday night and seen football was about 35 minutes from the city centre. Good luck with that, Percy!
By all accounts Simpson had a poor game in the ressies against Hartlepool midweek. But I agree we should have more attacking options on the bench.
It does seem strange that NB wanted Simpson back and even though we are struggling to score goals he can't even make the bench
Thank you kindly. I shall be in one of those three, although I won't state which one in case anybody comes in and tries to kill me. Did he have a choice?
Probably not, but Nick was quite happy to get him back, he's just been disappointed with him since he returned(I get the impression he doesn't want to be here at all).
