Mills is the one who has had to go grovelling to Pearson. Mills has apologised and Pearson has agreed he can stay and fight for a shirt. It was either apologise or leave
Karma eh? ... does your thinking extend to the possibility of clubs ultimately getting the Chairman that they deserve too?
No problem - I'd opt for a transplant if things got desperate - your missus says she knows where there is one that has barely been used..
To be honest I don't care if Leicester paid 2 million or 6 million but for the sake of debate I would imagine the 5 million quoted was with extras and bonuses for appearances promotion etc and the 3.5million was the basic up front fee.
According to the same guy who initially brought up the Mills link we've turned our attention to Jason Pearce from Portsmouth.
Yes but at least we're spending money we've got... Peter Ridsdale anyone?? We can afford to let Mills rot away from the first team if we want.
My take never had the slightest chance of signing him why would they spend a reported £5m to loan him to us I think Bates had probably set the rumour in motion for publicity purposes it deflects from him .Hes just playing games to make us think oh hes changing no chance I,m afraid!
It was possible Mills was leaving but Mills didnt want to go to you. He had the chance and turned it down and now him and Nigel are trying to patch things up. You might be able to get Tunchev who is quality but injury prone. He is better then Kisnorbo but his injury record is about as bad as Kisnorbo's
Matt Mills makes Kisnorbo look like David Beckham when it comes to passing. We will happily keep Matt Mills. He is a solid defender. He just cant pass for toffee and has an ego problem, make that a bruised ego at the minute We will swap for Snodgrass, no one else
Afew days ago, Mills was crap, couldn't pass for toffee, and we were welcome to him. Now, all is forgiven, I read he is in contention for a return (and maybe in with a shout for the New Years Honours list)
Of course - a few days ago he was a prat that insulted our manager to his face that we wanted to get rid of. Now he has forsaken the exit route that we offered him - first team football at a club that is in a better position then us in the league that he would have a good chance of signing for if they got promoted - in order to prove himself to us. He is still a prat that can't pass but one that has our respect.
Pompey are paying Tal Ben Haim 39k a week? WTF!!! Leicester are doing the same as what Portsmouth are doing, signing players on huge long term contracts, once the owner either gets bored or gets locked up you will be stuck with all these players earning miles more than the club is earning and you will go out of business! Id be afraid
