I had a feeling when the news came out that Bates was actually going to do something positiveto show he cares for the fans and the club .I then thought no the cretin will never change his spots this story was just a ploy to appease us to deflect from the criticsm he his recieving which is well deserved incidentally . When one thinks about it why on earth would Leicester spend a reported £5m on a player to then loan him to us? tHE ANSWER is they wouldn,t but it has had the desired effect perhaps the lap dog in his column will enlighten us as to all the deals they are about to make because so far we have lost Delph Townend and Smith and replaced them with a boy who hasn,t played for 8 months whose record of injuries is not bright either in other words is he fit? It was public knowledge that Mills had the option to join us so unless he, Pearson & the local press were in on 'Bates' ploy' this conspiracy theory carries no weight whatsoever.
